  1. Thanks for continuing your Internet Stalking, it better configures the evidence for Investigators and the Federal offices. So far you've called me an antagonist, angry, and told me to leave. I see you've neglected many aspects of ID in your profile as well, like many of the Moderators have; Why is that? Why don't you send me a PM with your vitriolic spew so the rest of the Forum doesn't have to read your anger.
  2. Oh OK, great. Thanks for stalking. Here's how this works: When the original poster (OP) has a question directed to them, the OP can reply to answer the question. If YOU cannot answer the question, you do NOT reply. YOU want to call people names, THEN call THEM the antagonists? Get the irony there? Oh my apologies, thinking you may understand a dictionary when you have not found the Spell Check yet. My bad.
  3. markd, you've just set the probable cause for internet stalking, now a crime in all 50 States. Is that why you don't want to share your Location? Been harassing people long time now, who do not agree with your POV?
  4. markd, are you and Adair one in the same people? You're being rediculous. Check the traffic scale on this site, and now I see you're stalking my posts?
  5. I've only been here 3 days and it's all over the place. and the censorship is insane. Calling them "Moderators" when all they do is censor the truth, is un-American. Found THE C-Max site, where people talk solutions and Community. I'll let Ford know.
  6. I am curious Adair, why there is so much Moderator censorship here (They say political content) when telling the truth ABOUT THAT censorship, yet there is political content all over this site which slams Ford and C-Max Hybrids with no foundation. Perhaps the lack of traffic now has an explanation: this is a Forum for degrading the C-Max Brand to confuse and create doubt for potential buyers.
  7. Not looking for fanboys, but a semi-positive experience with solution sets for problems. Having 1 or 2 whiners who don't know what a wrench is, is one thing. Having a Forum FULL of them is pretty much a giant troll nest. We were grilling out yesterday with family, and I had my bro in law take a look in this Forum; he noticed the whining and crying, no solutions really being offered by any but a couple, then he noticed the ads. Dodge and Jeep ads for pop-ups? Your Moderators remove a Signature they believe is political , yet let several threads run which are nothing but political in the car world. Then, I found the actual Ford site run for C-Max models and voila!!! Solutions, excellent people, and the whiners don't seem to like the strong daylight of truth therein. Very Cool.
  8. Strange to see a whole LOT of negative about Ford and C max, in THIS forum. How unfortunate for the advertisers.
  9. How unfortunate that you mention FEAR and UNCERTAINTY scenarios, but don't do the Michael Moore thing and follow through with some actions, in helping Solidarity. Have you seen this? -- MOD edited to remove vid. This is a CMax forum, take your political viewpoints elsewhere --
  10. God I love that GRILL !! Uh yeah, or an Altoids tin if you're a cheap bast adage like me who washes his own in the drive thru. Our '13 SEL has a metric crap ton of places to put stuff, are the SELs THAT different?
  11. ...and here is our very own Rally America, coming up to Maine next weekend !!! http://www.rally-america.com Check out that sweet Eco_Boost R5 in the front page rotation. Very nice..., way to go Ford!!!
  12. http://www.wsj.com/articles/ford-plans-to-get-back-in-the-race-at-le-mans-1434314048 Ford back to LeMans !!!? YES!! Anybody following the American Rally Cross series? It's be a great place for a C-Max Rally/camp/eat/drink....?
  13. Excellent, thank you Sir. I just got out of S.St. Paul after Union Pacific let a bunch of us go. How's it up in the Cities today?
  14. Hey that's great, another "Merchant of Doubt" wants to use FEAR and uncertainty to manipulate. Do I have to "quote" your posts before you change and manipulate them again? Waste of my time. Don't want to see that product move? ORGANIZE a movement instead of spreading your FEAR and terror, trying to move people away from these products. However, you'd NOT be THAT guy to post a link to FoMoCo in Detroit, to organize an e-mail campaign, would you? Nope.
  15. Several factors are in OUR control, start there; higher tire pressures on eco-tires, quality synthetic oils at just the halfway fill mark on the stick, and ethanol free gasoline will give you an extra 10% with MANY added benefits of NOT having corn in your fuel system. http://pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=FL Forst, locate your ethanol free stations, then find the one that gouges the least. Here in WI we've found the Cenex stores to be the best. Tires; IIRC we have Michelin Defenders on the Prius from Discount Tire, it's a 90K mile tire with a decent warranty/guarantee. Get on their e-mail list for sales and you can grab a set with an $80-100, rebate card, free 6 mo. financing, 5K tire rotations are gratis. Otherwise, it sound like EcoCruise at about 67 mph...Cool. A good wax job too. And a white one, cuz they're faster.
  16. Probably listed here somewhere? If it is, give this link a shove... http://www.thecarconnection.com/news/1097469_ford-c-max-vs-toyota-prius-compare-cars
  17. How about changing out the fluids? It's a little PITA and the fluid isn't cheap, but I don't see what is cheap about driving around "testing" a noisy trans.? Not to be a smart ass, but in the time spent posting about it, couldn't the fluid have been changed out already for process of elimination? Did you do that already and I've missed it?
  18. Yeah, there appears to be A LOT of C-Max/Ford slamming in these Forums, using the tactics of "The Merchants of Doubt" to sway gawkers from buying these cars. There's A LOT of money at stake so I'm not surprised.
  19. Just In Time manufacturing? You're going to "quiz" me about the most generic aspect of Auto assembly, to see if I'm lying about GM factory work? I see not one single person has brought up the factor of it being their UAW Contract time with Ford, and an alleged/threatened "move" to Mexico is ALL that Ford has right now to hold over their heads. It's mostly theater; Michigan is building EXCELLENT product in high demand, priced to go head-to-head with 'Yota and the Volt BS isn't even close to it in any fashion. Could Ford take their toys and run to Mexico? Sure, and they could also be planning to bring all the matching platforms up to Michigan, just as well. How would THAT be for a PR win to the ENTIRE FoMoCo; bringing jobs back HOME-how many cars/trucks will THAT sell ?! "Merely commenting" on peoples' jobs going to Mexico is a scare tactic used by the anti-Union folks, and you are surely free to use such tactics here I'd guess, but don't think an old Union head won't call you out on it.
  20. Uh Yes, I call it a "personal problem" not related to a car's make/model.
  21. Actually, I did not quote your opinion, why are you "Cross-Talking" mine? Actually, remember that having worked in the industry for many years AND being a College graduate with reading skills, I can see that you did not actually read much of what I took the time to write. I can appreciate that. Just to test your reading comp. skills; What's the Michigan C-Max build out date? Do you know what a build out is?
  22. I like to buy air and oil filters in bulk with my oil, on the CHEAP. Suggestions? Embrace the Suck.
  23. I'll give you an inside view of GM's Corporate HQ's opinions. We would have what GM called "Diagonal Slice" meetings in the factory: employees meet the N.A. management in a meeting, Q & A afterwards, etc.. My Q: When will GM put out something like a Saturn wagon, with a TDI-like motor in it? I would buy 2 of them, if you mate it to a 6-spd gearbox... A: The high MPG thing that is VW, is a PR thing for the greenies. We have no intentions of EVER going in that direction. ( bill Boggs, N.A. G.M. vehicle production) What you see G.M. doing is spending Federal money to research something, to have the appearance of due diligence in spending the US taxpayer's dollars for something that Toyota started almost 15 years ago. It's theater. General Motors is IN bed with O.P.E.C.. There is NO other way to put it, period. I would encourage EVERY single one of you to go to YouTube and search for a documentary called "The Merchants of Doubt", watch it in entirety, then come back here and read through the posts per oil changes, and MPG FE, etc.. Then , ask some questions after doing some critical thinking: which Corporations took TARP money, and used it to build factories in China and India? Your tax dollars, not paid back, but forgiven loans... It was a smart business move on GM's part, at the time. Free Money. The Ford Family, actually is OUR family and I have a feeling they are why you are here. GM prototypes: more tax dollars from you and me, being spent that they will outprice so you and I cannot afford it, and "the market" said it was not viable. B.S..
  24. May I dare paraphrase your results? Once the ambient goes below 50 degrees Far. it would be sensible to start running a grill cover? Are you running ethanol free fuel? http://pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=FL
