I got the WeatherTech black mats early on, when that was the only color they had. At the time I kind of wished for the lighter ones, but now I think the black ones might be better for not showing dirt. VR

Man, that really sucks! How can there be so much animosity out there? I just don't understand why someone would have such hateful feelings toward another human being, just because they're trying to do their part to save gas. Kinda makes me have second thoughts about springing the few extra $ for my personalized plate. VR

Hopefully nobody will ever need this, but I happened to run across this Emergency Response Guide (PDF) for first responders if they happen upon an accident involving a Ford C-Max (Hybrid or Energi). It shows the high-voltage component locations, service disconnects, procedures for approaching a damaged high-voltage vehicle, proper shutdown and high-voltage system disabling, and transporting and storing the vehicle. I noticed that the little triangular window (in front of the mirror) appears to not be tinted. Is that considered part of the 'windshield'?

...and I should mention, I also bought my C-Max "used" from the dealer, though it had less than 200 miles on the odometer. A very picky fellow had bought it new just a few weeks earlier, saw a few minor 'discrepancies' (which were quickly corrected), decided he just couldn't keep it, and sold it back to the dealer. I came along shortly thereafter, and scarfed it up! :sing_rain:

Is the 3.5.1 software upgrade tied to the SD card map upgrade (from "A3" to "A4")? Seems like I read in another forum somewhere that the dealer would try to charge you ($100?) to upgrade the maps.

I've also noticed that. We should conduct a poll to see if the two are connected.

I've had my C-Max for about four months now, and it seems like everytime I come out of the house (or come out of a store), I *still* reach into my pocket and pull out the keyless fob to unlock the car doors. Just wondering if anybody else is still stuck in this rut! :doh:
