I got my windows tinted! 35% rear windows and hatch, and 50% on front windows. It looks really good on the White Platinum color. Very pleased.

I think I must have looked at every one of them at least once before I got my car. It was a nice way to learn, without having to be behind the wheel.

I finally saw another C-MAX right in my own neighborhood in Waukesha, WI. That is the first one I've seen aside from my own. It was ice blue. I couldn't tell if it was an Energi or Hybrid; too quick.

I think the sound you are hearing may be the automatic grille shutters. They are controlled by engine coolant temp, vehicle speed, and the A/C system. I believe when you start the A/C (e.g. by starting the car after leaving the A/C on when turning off the car), the grille shutters have to open. If there is no demand for the A/C, the shutters won't open until the other systems (engine temp, high vehicle speed) call for that.

Although I haven't had my C-MAX for long -- about 3 weeks, now, I'd say definitely, "Yes!" at this point. Though I was nervous about some of the issues I read about in the various forums, I have not experienced any negative issues. MFT, SYNC and navigation all work perfectly, and that system only slows down for a while when it is indexing a new USB key full of music. Love the comfortable, quiet ride.

While I was waiting for delivery, not so patiently, mind you, my dealer surprised me by having one that very nearly matched my order driven up from Illinois. I'm in the Milwaukee metro area, and have seen none besides my own so far. :-(

I had a car on order since 1/29. Figured I'd be waiting a couple more months, at least. Yesterday, I got a call from my dealership, Soerens Ford in Brookfield, WI. They traded with a dealership down in mid-Illinois for my car (almost). It lacks the Engine Block Heater that is standard in Wisconsin, and has a remote start, which was not on my original order. I chose to not wait for my C-Max, so I took it home. So, not even 24 hours yet. Everything I've used is working fine. Not even any issues with navi maps loading slow. All good, so far. But still have lots of things to check. With 230 miles on it, the average MPG is only about 29. I know it must have been driven HARD to get it up here. That won't impact future MPG's, will it? Didn't take long to get 100% from the brake coach.

C-Max SEL with 302A in White Platinum ordered on 1/26/13 in southeast Wisconsin. Was told 6-8 weeks, but I'm trying hard to be patient, because my order has not even been pulled yet.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to getting mine in a few weeks (months?). But the VUE really has been a good car...

My 2007 Saturn VUE Greenline rear windows go ALL the way down. I want my CMAX!
