  1. As I've said...I am getting 47+. I did change my driving habits drastically. Coming out of a muscle car, it was very hard for me to do, but I did it. Even on the highway, I don't take it over the 62mph so the EV mode will kick in whenever it can. I just take my time..stay in the right lane mostly except to pass. On secondary roads I feather the gas pedal a lot, so the EV mode runs as much as possible. When I need to accelerate I do....I punch it, and then when I get up to the speed I need, I back off the gas until EV kicks in, and cruise in EV mode from there. So I don't understand why some of you are getting such poor milage, but I doubt very much that it has anything to do with a change at the factory. I believe its just poor driving habits. Please don't get offended, its just my opinion.

  2. I love the MFT. I don't know why every review I read says its too complicated or doesn't work well. I have had no problems and I don't see where it is complicated at all. I love all the features...and using it (to me) is very easy. There are a couple of features on the radio that I really like. If you are listening to a station and you want to hear a song again, you can actually go back and listen to it again. And I like that you can set alerts for a band that you may like, and anytime that band is played on any station it will alert you and ask if you want to tune to that station. Some amazing stuff....to me....the more toys the better.

  3. I'm 60 years old, and I love all the gadgets and technology. I can't get enough of it. To me its what makes the car interesting to drive. I love playing with the screens and finding out new stuff that it does. For instance, yesterday I learned that if I'm listening to the radio, as long as I don't change the channel, I can actually go back and play a song over again. I think it keeps up to an hour of programs in que, again...as long as the channel isn't changed. After having Mustangs, and Camaros, I thought this car would be boring, but with all the technology, I look forward to driving it every day.

  4. I was reading the owners manual to see if there is a way to lock or to purchase a way to lock the gas cap system. Can't find anything on it. I'd like to have the ability to lock it, especially here on Long Island where there are lines at gas stations about 1mile or more long. Seems to me they could have at least put a release handle in the vehicle somewhere to unlock to door.

  5. My dealer had no clue about the TMP....in fact, they didn't even know where it was in the car. They said "they sent an email to Ford to tell them where it was located on the car." What I did was a huge unusual step.....I actually opened the owners manual and looked it up!! And guess what....it tells you exactly where it is and how to use it. Now I wonder why the dealer couldn't do that??? Anyway...haven't tried it...hope I never have to.

  6. Nice looking car. I like the light leather upholstery. The hands free feature using your foot for the rear hatch is only available on the SEL's as far as I know.

The interior is light, but not leather, its cloth. They did say they make it look like leather. And from what I understand, Ford is the first to come up with Heated cloth seats which I have in my model.

  7. Well....picked it up. Really nice. No push button start. Auto rear door, but as far as I can see, I don't have that thing where you wave your foot under it and it opens.

Loaded with other features though. I just spent about 2 hours programming all my radio channels...phones, etc. Very quiet ride. It takes a little getting used to when you turn the key and there is no starting motor sound. So far I love it.....we have a storm coming Monday, so I'm not sure if I'll get to drive it to work or not.

    Here are some pics......
