  1. I have a new 2013 CMax SEL factory ordered a few days before Hurricane Sandy in late October and picked up Dec. 26th. Sandy spared my Escape thank goodness because I got a decent trade-in for it. First problem was the whacky nav sys. and not recognizing the phone. Took it in for a complete reprogramming, and no further problems there. Was dead as a door nail about 3 weeks ago. Had to be towed to dealer because they didn't want anyone performing road service on a car with 1,400 miles on it. Was surprised to find there is no idiot light for the 12 volt battery, which they say may have been bad from the factory. Are you kidding me? This car tells me something about everything and no idiot light for something that can leave you dead own the road? To me this is a real design flaw and should at least be retro fitted into the vehicle health check so you get a warning.
