Our car's GPS has now had its fourth SD card failure. Ford says they currently have no fix for it, but hope to have one later in the year. Not a good scenario. :-(

I know the service manager where we bought the car and he agrees that the headlight issue is going to require troubleshooting (about 3-4 hours on Tuesday). He tried to get the lights to come on in a downpour with the wipers in both the automatic and manual positions--nothing. On the windows, he's as amazed as I am. There was no way we hit any buttons. Neither of us carry our keys with us.

My wife's car is doing some weird things. The headlights aren't coming on when the wipers do and we went out to the car this afternoon to find all of the windows were down! Has anyone else encountered these problems? We already had an appointment for the light problem, but now we have to add the issue with the windows, too. (SEL with all options)

I agree with RaPieR. The "leather" in the car doesn't even feel like leather--more like leatherette. It's not anything like the leather in my King Ranch truck.

You're probably right about the fan. It happened, though, when the battery should've been cold. The temperature outside was 27 degrees and the garage didn't feel a lot warmer!

I just walked through our garage and heard a buzzing sound coming from the back portion of the car. It's a little bit like the noise an electric fuel pump makes. I started the car and then turned it back off and now it's not making the sound. I'm going to check with the service manager Monday morning and hope the noise doesn't start back up again and run down the battery. Anybody got a clue what it was?

Hilly/mountainous terrain makes a big difference in mileage. We're driving very sensibly and only getting in the low thirties.

One more pearl white with sunroof. The sunroof does make the car seem bigger and I'm glad we got it. Around 40 mpg is where we are right now.

Our car has the Ford C-Max clear tape that's part of the exterior protection package (dealer installed). It looks good, but don't know how much protection it will give.

We bought the Platinum White and are satisfied.

I've started using generic spray furniture polish. It's really cheap and gives a respectable appearance. There's a product made by Dri Wash n Guard that I prefer, but it's kinda pricy.

My wife and I ordered an SEL three weeks ago and it's due at the dealership on November 12.
