does your tint have metallic or ceramic in it? i know some are more reflective than others.

If it was built after that date then have them replace the module

thanks it was jan 2013 and before, mine was built in march but the GPS is still way off - even one of their "Service" man rode with me and it happened as he witnessed it. i even had pictures of it on my phone.

the dealership is old and outdated, no shuttle service or even wi-fi. place is really old-school

thanks - the dealer wanted more time to diagnose it. the part that ticks me off is they wanted me to reschedule again.

i'll probably try another dealership, since the last one sucked.

was at the dealership last week and they mentioned there wasn't any TSB and I would have to come in again and reschedule so they can take a closer look at it. 

my c-max came with the 3.5.1 update since it was built in March - the GPS still sucks on it.

at the dealership now, it'll take a couple of hours min. and they don't even have shuttle service, only in-house rental cars for a cost or wi-fi- really?

It's the closest Ford dealership - Krieger Ford, it reminds me in the 90's of a crappy GM dealership when i was a kid.

ETA: they fixed the tailgate issue in 30 minutes, but then another hour later they tell me I need to book another appt to get the GPS/sync looked it  :nonono:  what a waste of time.

Or at least I think it did, I was parked outside one of my hospitals and the radio turns off and screen goes blank...30 seconds later this screen pops up.

So what was it updating and how did it get the update, my cell wasn't connected to the car either.

rolling one (heatshield) can fold - just got to fold it. As well, theres more coverage area around the rear vision mirror. took a while to get use to this gigantic one but now its fine. :wub2: it.

the more coverage around the mirror unfortunately doesn't work because I have my Escort 9500ix mounted up there

the roll up seems like it takes more time, i wonder will it curl up?

i prefer the folding one they make.

A dash cam will capture any true road rage and the police can deal with it, they are armed much better than I am. When it comes to bad drivers I keep a running log on my youtube channel.

what system are you using? it looks like lower resolution or maybe it's just youtube?

i hate the voice recognition, it's terrible. 

No wi-fi needed, just a paired cell-phone and a good signal.

it's pretty cool as it called from my cell to their toll free #. but the report seems useless unless i have a problem

Talked to the Service manager and I will be the first to have my tailgate fixed, plus he did see a notice for GPS issues too.

How long realistically did it take to do either or both? I know the TSB said 1/2 day for the tailgate as Ford was playing it safe with time.

All the more reason Ford should make Series 2 CMax come up with user-selectable engine noise, imagine a 454 noise blaring out the front speakers. I am sure that would wake that moron up ;)

i will say cars don't like to be passed by a Hybrid and they end up speeding and pacing me  :hysterical:

If it's like other cars, doesn't the ECU reset and all your driving parameters will re-learn itself over time?

Hill Assist is faulty?

Any new update on solutions to adding LEDs? Thinking of adding LEDs to all the rear lights, but have bad memories of dealing with flickering lights after car turns off on last car.

Unfortunately none so far, I haven't bothered with it. I did the LED upgrades to the license plate lights and puddle lights.

I was looking at the new fusions and they even have the projector lamps, why can't the C-Max have it originally?
