I have a problem with NAV "Navigation fault, please see the touchscreen" I'm not having any other problems with the touch screen. The NAV recycles every couple of minutes which is very annoying, it doesn't forget the destination, it just keeps on rebooting. Taking it in to FORD next Tuesday to have a "Specialist" look at it. :headscratch: Paul

I have a 2013 C-max Hybrid SE and since I have owned it, the MPH sign (in the bottom left corner) on the GPS that tells you what the speed limit is on the road you are on has always shown 74 MPH for 75 and 80 MPH zones (we can drive 80 in UT). I brought this up to my dealer and submitted a ticket online long ago, but never heard back from anyone. Not a big deal, but it seems like an easy fix Is this an issue in other models as well

From OASIS, Mar. 2nd: SSM 44961 - 2011-2015 Various Vehicles - Global Positioning Satellite Module (GPSM) - Inaccurate Location Or Offset Displayed After Seasonal Tire Change Some 2011-2015 Vehicles with MFT or MLT and Navigation may display incorrect vehicle position after installing seasonal tires. These inaccuracies will correct/recalibrate over time if tires are within the recommended size. Use Owners Guide to verify proper size, load index, and speed rating. If the tires are not the correct specification for the vehicle, do not perform a repair attempt. If proper tires are installed and the concern persists refer to Work Shop Manual, Section 415-00 for diagnosis by DTC or symptom. Note: Removing GPSM power for 2 minutes will clear GPSM calibration and greatly reduce the time it takes for the system to correct/recalibrate. The system will typically recalibrate within 20 minutes of driving around 40 MPH with a clear view of the sky and a turn performed every few miles with the GPSM power restored.

Does anyone know which manufacturer's navigation system is on 2013 C-Max Hybrid ? ( I.e, Garmin, Magellan, Tom Tom, ..other? This was our first time with gps NAV on a car, used it a lot especially on vacation in unfamiliar cities. We sometimes "made an extra stop, or chose to take a different street or different interstate exit after entering the destination, while driving. NAV system always tried to "help" us get back on the "computed route" (mostly saying make a legal u- turn etc). But it was good about re-calculating, and picking up where we actually were successfully. Would love to know which mfr NAV ? thanks!

Question is, how does one activate GPS time synchronization and outside air temp display on plain-vanilla SEL? Are these Nav-only functions? On page 478 of my owners manual (My Ford Touch -> Settings -> Clock) it says: From this screen, you can also make other adjustments, such as 12– or24–hour mode, activate GPS time synchronization and have the systemautomatically update for daylight savings time and new time zones. You can also turn the outside air temperature display on and off. Whenthe outside air temperature is displayed, it appears at the top center ofthe touchscreen next to the time and date.
