I used to have my iPhone 6s connected to my radio through Bluetooth. For some reason or another, it disconnected and wouldn't connect again. I was told to forget the device and add it again. This worked. Now, it has disconnected again and no matter what I try, it won't connect again. I also have trouble when I have it connected with the cord, I often have to unlug it and plug it in several times before it works. Is this just because of the Mircosoft/Apple thing? Is there anything I can do to get back on Bluetooth? Anyone else have issues?

My wife and I each have I phones, and we can load both phones for taking and making calls. But we cannot figure out how to switch from one iPhone music to the other, using Bluetooth. We have tried everything, the C-Max seems only capable of handling one set of iPhone Music libraries. If we remove one of the iphones completely from the car, we can get either library, but doing that on a road trip is way to much work, and must be done while the car is stopped. Any help is appreciated.

I've had numerous problems with Sync connecting to my iphone 4 (version 6.1.3). Sync locks up (but works with other features) and won't connect to the phone one time and then the next time it will recognize the phone. Had the computer rebooted and updated software several times at the dealership. Recent problem is playing music from the iphone via bluetooth. It starts out fine, then "pauses" on the MFT screen, but continues to play on the iphone. I hit "play" on the MFT screen and it picks up the song where it is on the iphone, but constantly drops the bluetooth signal. The dealership wanted me to update to version 7 claiming to be a phone software issue, but I only have a 8gb on the phone and Verizon does not recommend updating to v7 for my phone. The iphone plays music great, so I honestly doubt that it is the problem. Haven't tried connecting via the USB, but several in this forum are recommending against that. I think the problem is with the MFT's bluetooth software. Any suggestions? I have about 2gb of music on my phone.

Good job, Ford engineers! I just got my car's MFT upgraded to 3.5.1 today, and it does seem to have fixed a few things: The very good news: 1. My streaming bluetooth now accurately picks artists and track names from my iPhone 4s. I didn't have to go into iTunes and delete random metadata, which is what a few others suggested worked for them. YAY! 2. Bluetooth controls now work from the entertainment console. I can stop, rewind, skip, etc. using the dash controls rather than with my hands on the phone. This is a huge improvement for me, as I listen almost exclusively to streaming podcasts or music in the car, and no longer need to operate my phone to do this. Hurray for safety! (Ford: if you're reading this, why not consider an enhancement to permit 30 second rewind from MFT controls, as Apple does natively? Pretty please?) The annoying, but easily fixed news: 3. The upgrade wiped out all my navigation history and destinations. Not unexpected, but a pain to program again. 4. As others noted, clock time was off by a random amount (not whole hours, but hours + minutes) The annoying and can't yet figure out how to fix it news: 5. My garage opener thingy that I finally got working no longer works. No idea why the upgrade would have affected this, or maybe it's just coincidence. Anybody else have trouble with this feature on their SEL? OM instructions not working for me.
