Jus-A-CMax
http://www.mpgomatic.com/2013/01/19/are-all-hybrids-slow-from-0-60-mph/ CMax is only beaten by a Lexus 450H with 6 seconds for 0-60mph. Not too shabby at all... I for one, prefer to have the power and feather that power for efficiency rather than no-power and have mileage galore ala Prius. Feel free to add you comments o-fellow-CMaxers. TxWally and ptjones
plus 3 golfer
Seems to be a wide 0-60 range (see below) but still better than the Prius and one of the many performance reasons I bought the C-Max over the Prius. TFLCar - Tech Demo - 10.7 sec. at sea level and 3 people in vehicle c/d - 8.8 sec, .Rolling start, 5–60 mph: 8.6 secCR - 8.6 sec.MT - from dead stop took 8.2 seconds Edmunds - 8.1 seconds (7.7 seconds with a one foot roll out as on a drag strip)mpgomatic - 7.6 secondsTruth about cars - 7.05 Seconds ptjones
JulieB
Yeah, that was one of the reasons we bought the C-Max. I don't get on freeways a lot, but when I do, it's in the most interesting car in the world! ;-) Seriously, freeway traffic around here is such that when you enter, you'd better be ready to step on the gas and move, lest someone fill up that nice gap you're hoping to fill yourself. If your car has so sit there and think about it after you've stepped on the gas, you've lost your spot. ptjones
J**2
I think the Energi will hands down beat out the Prius.Drive like a prius in a Cmax and you will get great millage.Floor it and you will still get good milage just not 47 mpg.
