C-MaxJaxon
Just an advance warning that this is a bit OCD. :) I was checking the tire pressure this morning and finally noticed the tires have rubber "whiskers" sticking out all the way around all the tires. They look kind of stupid, and haven't worn off after 4K miles, so I grabbed some nail clippers and trimmed them off quick. The only reason I thought of removing them is because I had one bicycle that I put new tires on and the whiskers actually rubbed the frame and made noise, so I had to trim them off to keep from damaging the bike. I promise that I didn't trim them off the inside of the tires (yet!) so I'm not completely OCD. My C-Max is now slightly lighter and more aerodynamic than yours. Now, everybody out to the garage with some nail clippers. I know ptjones is going to go out right now and trim them off the insides of his tires too. ;) Edited January 26, 2013 by C-MaxJaxon JulieB

C-MaxJaxon
Do you Puck the rocks out off the treads too? That bugs me.I do if there happens to be a larger rock in view that's easy to pop out when I'm squatting down and checking the tires. Too much work to get rid of all the small or deeply embedded ones.
