I reset the Trip1 settings and now see that my recently learned EX+ locations ( home and office) are now gone. I thought they would be lost only if you did a lifetime reset. So for you more experienced owners: have to tried resetting Trip 2 instead? Does any reset lose these settings? I normally reset Trip 1 for re-fuels and Trip 2 for oil changes, or longer term maintenance. Any suggestions if I want to keep EV+ settings intact? Maybe I just forget the rests at all? Seems strange, but who knows what the engineering folks were thinking. I did read a rather unclear reference in the manual about resetting displays might remove EV+. cgul Posted January 28, 2013 Report Share Posted January 28, 2013 I don't understand why your's does this. I reset both trip 1 & 2 all the time and never lose EV+. I reset lifetime at 600 miles and did lose EV+ for a hundred miles or so. Maybe someone has an answer for this or you might have to try the dealer. Thanks I concur with the other owners. When you are in Trip 1 or Trip 2 screen and press-n-hold reset, it will only reset that screen, it does not effect EV+. If you want to clear EV+, its a harder find to locate the "lifetime" and pressing reset there. For me, Trip 1 is always the gas counter so that gets reset on each tank, like you. Trip 2 I use to record daily trips (when I bother and remember) and I reset that all the time. Sometimes I also reset the Empower MPG as well. ldm Posted February 2, 2013 Report Share Posted February 2, 2013 My wife and I just picked up our new SEL last Tuesday and already had the EV+ come today, Friday, for the home arrival.
