Time
Hey folks, I've been scouring the internet and the forums here to figure out where the disconnect is for the high voltage connection, so that I can replace my 12v battery. So far, all information is about the Energi model and not the hybrid. In the owners manual, it says it's behind the rear seat passenger side, but nothing seems to be there. Would anyone know where the access panel is for the high voltage disconnect? Thanks in advance!
homestead
I don't think you need to disconnect the high voltage battery to change the 12v battery.
Lacienega
I changed mine and did not disconnect the high voltage
Time
Interesting. Might explain why there isn't much out there on how to disconnect the high voltage.
fbov
It's in here, but I agree you don't need to do it for a 12v battery replacement. 2013_CMAX_Modifer_Guide.pdf
Time
Yep, that's what I did. Went straight to taking the battery out without disconnecting the high voltage, had no issues. Thanks everyone for the info!
