RachelnLa
Any recommendations for keeping that dash as pretty as when it comes from the dealer? I really need to wash my baby today and get her all spiffy.
zhackwyatt
I haven't tried this yet, but I have it on order and have heard good things about it: Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer Cleaner: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AMLWH8/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000AMLWH8&linkCode=as2&tag=calipso-20 Also, for quick exterior wipes in between washes: Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000RXNLK6/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000RXNLK6&linkCode=as2&tag=calipso-20 Edited March 16, 2013 by zhackwyatt TurtleMax and Hatchman
colea
I'm a fan of Prima car care products, which I've used on another car. I've used their Prima Nero (under the Vinyl and Rubber category) on my dash; more of a matte finish, rather than gloss. http://stores.shopprimacarcare.com/StoreFront.bok
C-Maxgo
I've always used water on the interior like the dash and doors. I've always been happy with it but I'm curious to hear how you guys like other products.

You can find them anywhere, and they really work for less $$ than the premium products. +1 on the Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer Cleaner, and for touchups between washes the Ultimate Quick Detailer is great on the exterior. I also really like the Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax after washing. I've tried several different products, and Megs Ult Quick Wax was the best. If you want some great sunscreen, and doesn't dry out plasticizers, protect any plastic/vinyl/leather with Aerospace 303 Protectant, though it has almost no cleaning properties, so only apply it to clean surfaces or you'll just smear the dirt around or cover it up. zhackwyatt
Springer Spaniel? Very handsome. Car looks good too LOL.No, I had DNA test done. Cocker Spaniel, Boxer, Border Collie, and Boston Terrier. Laurel
Laurel
That is a nice combo of good natured and smart breeds. I have often thought of getting a DNA test for our Tinker. She is an unknown and people guess pom with corgi, pom with cocker, pom with chihuahua etc. We have friends who train horses in the Cariboo with working Border Collies and they cannot do their ranching without those two dogs--they are brilliant. We are in yuppie suburbia here and the labradoodle has taken over the world here. Nice dogs but they are the designer dog of the day around here--along with West Highland Terriers. We always go for the rescue dogs.
RachelnLa
Our best dogs have been the ones that found us. Pookie was a rescue after the hurricane. :)
StoBro2
I guess I'm a Basset Hound kind of guy. Her name happens to be Jelly, which work out well with the jellybean shaped C-Max she rides in. I adopted her from a rescue group a few years ago. Before Jelly, I had a rough-coated lurcher named Chrissie Hound who was also a rescue.

C-Maxgo
Here's a picture of my husband and dog driving Max. I think Conan (my dog) loves the back seat of the car when he's not driving lol.
lowbar
Conan makes a good co-pilot, or is that navigator?
C-Maxgo
Most of the time he's a co-pilot unless the navigation doesn't understand me. The he's the navigator ;0)

I had to make sure on our last Ford at the car wash to TELL them to NOT treat the dash, caused a terrible glare!
