RachelnLa
Hetting out of the car the other night I noticed the phone disconnected. Since then it will not connect when I enter the car. I tried deleting the device and repairing and the car will give me the Bluetooth code but my phone never finds the car. Any suggestions? I REALLY like to talk on the phone while I drive. zhackwyatt
Did you try deleting Sync from your phone as well as deleting your phone from the car?
RachelnLa
Yes. Both. The phone searches and searches...
plus 3 golfer
Who paired it initially? Try the reverse pairing. Also, I believe there is a way that you can let your phone generate a pin and enter the pin in MFT.
RachelnLa
Dealer first, then me. It's been three weeks of bliss and now this. I will try reverse pairing. I will try my husbands phone too.
wab
How often do you power down your phone? Ours was acting flaky, powered the phone off, back on, no problems since.
RachelnLa
I did that several times too! Paired my husband's phone, deleted it, mine paired! Gremlins.
dtorres
I had this happen too after the first few weeks. The only thing that worked for me was doing a master rest on the MFT system. Unfortunately you also lose all your presets and MFT settings. The upside is after the reset it hasn't happened again.
RachelnLa
I will keep that in mind. Thanks!
MikeB
I've had a few times where the MFT screen showd no phone, but my phone was actually connected. I think it was a display glitch, not a pairing glitch. But I went into the phone screen, hit disconnect and then reconnect, and it showed back up properly. Sounds like this isn't quite the issue you are having, but it's another thing to keep an eye out for.
