spinner
CMAX SEL, OBD panel below and to the left of the steering wheel. There is a pushbutton that is installed at the bottom of the panel. What is it?
DaveofDurham
Ejector seat? I noticed the OBD panel for the first time today while I was looking for the hood release. I didn't notice a button. I will take a look next time I go out.

DaveofDurham
On board diagnostics. I think there is a port to plug in a cable from the OBD device (computer) on the panel spinner is asking about.

DaveofDurham
On board diagnostics. I think there is a port to plug in a cable from the OBD device (computer) on the panel spinner is asking about. I don't see a button on this panel on my car. Right underneath where OBD is embossed into the panel there is a cut out/depressed area. I thought there was a port here, but when I took a closer look I could not see a port. I don't know why this panel is marked or what the cut out/depressed area is for. Also, I recall seeing photos of scan gauges being hooked up in some other threads. I don't think the connection was anywhere near this panel, but I don't remember where the connection was.

DaveofDurham
My SEL has the OBD panel. Opened it and just has the port to plug into. No button How did you open the panel? What is the cut out/depression for right under where OBD is embossed on the panel?
JAZ
The cutout on the OBD panel is for your fingers to grab and gently pull: the panel comes off revealing the OBD port to plug in the ScanGauge. I can find no buttons on my setup either.
