Radio stops working than car dies

Hello,

I have a 2013 C-Max hybrid.  Had an issue about a month ago when the radio stopped working.  Touchscreen wouldn't work.  Power button wouldn't work.  Everything else on screen phone/climate/navigation was working fine.  Less than a week later, went to leave for work and my car was completely dead.  Had to use manual key to enter.  We were able to jump it.  Took to Ford dealer, had them replace the battery (they couldn't find anything wrong with it, but it was 6+ years old so had them replace it).  Had 120,000 service, also had them check the alternator. Completed a recall service.  Everything seemed fine.  About 3 weeks later, the radio died again.  Thought maybe was coincidence and was going to check fuse when we had time.  3 days later, go out to start car and again, completely dead.  Had to open with manual key.  Tried jump starting, nothing.  still completely dead.  Will have to have towed to dealership.  Has anyone have something similar happen? Thanks!

Just as an FYI, this is specifically the ACM which is a separate module from the Sync system/APIM. It's well known on these vehicles and possibly some other models. Ford has a TSB for this same exact concern on the Fusion. The fuse pull noted above is a temporary workaround but will get things operating again for an undetermined period of time. For a full fix, the calibration/firmware on the ACM needs to be updated. The dealer may balk at this considering nothing has been officially documented for the C-Max (likely a combination of low production volume and of so many people just using the fuse pull workaround and never getting it properly diagnosed/fixed for them to document) but you can have them look up info for the Fusion and they should be able to locate the info on this.
