METROMAN
Well, we picked up Ruby last night after work. Drove home via country back roads mostly 35-50 mph. Rode very nice. Hard to believe how quiet it is. Display showed 53 miles, 31 EV & 44.3 mpg avg. That stinks. I wanna see the manager, maybe get my money back. LOL Seriously, how'd I do for the first run? fotomoto
Great first trip. MPG will get even better once the ICE gets more miles on. With nearly 5k miles now on mine, the transition from EV to ICE is very smooth and sometimes imperceptible as compared to new. Read up and learn to use the mileage techniques found here. They will pay dividends.

GreenChicago
And I thought only I had a Ruby.... :drool:Wah wah waaaaah! We will hopefully be joined soon by more members of the Cult of Ruby Red. ;-) Honestly, I found most of the other colors too masculine, when combined with the interior and styling cues. My first impression when I test drove the CMAX was, "Hey hire some women into that design group, Ford!" The only thing I don't love about this color is its propensity to show dirt-- my old car was forest green and a pretty good chameleon. Noah Harbinger
I was torn between getting the color I wanted (Ruby/Stone) with the package I didn't (301A), or my runner-up color (Candy Blue/Charcoal) in the package I did (302A). Or else do a dealer order or wait for the one I want to show up in the county. Obviously, I went with package + timeliness over color. And goodness I am SO glad I got the backup camera! My Fuelly avg only reflects the single tank I've purchased in the two weeks I've owned her ;-) Hold up the revolt! (But do pay attention to how you drive!) Most of those miles I obtained because I've been reading this forum for tips. Honestly, I was quite surprised it was as high as it was. salsaguy
they do say red paint fades a lot quicker in the sun than other colors so hopefully in a few years you are still happy with your color choice.
