Edsel
Mine is 99% with a little over 4700 miles on the odometer. What is yours?
fotomoto
Funny, I had been thinking about staring the exact same thread. 7,000 miles @ 97% but was 98 until my wife took it on one long highway trip. She has a leadfoot on both the gas and brake pedals!
JohnnOhio
just turned over 4900 and 100% brake score. :happy feet: Adair, LizM and moytoyx
Edsel
just turned over 4900 and 100% brake score. :happy feet: :congrats: I didn't think that would even be possible, much less hear about it on the third post!
wamba2000
3750 miles and 96%, too many times you have to jam on brakes in Phoenix due to boneheads pulling out in front of you!
PWBarrett
Unfortunately ours has 3 drivers with different driving styles, so lifetime scores are not all that much use.And yeah, it is annoying when I've got my deceleration all planned out and somebody cuts in front of me to get to the red light sooner. ScubaDadMiami
1348 vehicle miles with 98 percent brake score.
LizM
7500 - 96% - those sudden stop lights get me every time
HPRifleman
2000 miles, 98%. Most stops are 100% but when the light turns yellow up ahead then it is easy to be at 86%.
mtb9153
I have more 70% and 80% than not it is just too hard to plan my braking here. Always some idiot that ruins my best efforts. Or a light turns yellow just before I reach the pedestrian crossing and I have to nail the brakes or risk running a red light. Once in a great while I get a 100%. Or a light turns yellow just before I reach the pedestrian crossing and I have to nail the brakes or risk running a red light. Daily occurrences for us all, I am sure. The C-MAX gets partial credit for mellowing me out, but that credit gets taken away by these kinds of things. It's like getting the perfect 10. Even if you have had luck for something at one moment, you end out finishing off the performance with choosing between a brake slam or gunning ICE to avoid getting caught by the light. If only you had arrived at the light just three seconds before! Sound familiar? :shift:
Jus-A-CMax
17,000+ miles 97%. To me, these brake scores are meaningless - whether I get 97% or 99% or 100% it makes no difference as it does not effect my MPGs bottomline. But thats jus me... :shift:
Noah Harbinger
I got a 50% at a light today, going downhill towards an intersection - I think that's my lowest to date. Felt so ashamed.

I don't think I have seen less than the 60% range and I thought I was pretty much slamming in the brakes.

Are you not able to anticipate stops? Do drive in an area where people pull out in front of you a lot? Can your provide more detail as to why these low brake scores are common for you? mnrobitaille
28,751 miles & a lifetime brake score of 93% Three different drivers with three different driving styles (one of those driver's driving style is more designed for a sports car, than a hybrid). Lowest one-time brake score I know about was a 75%, as we rarely have to do fast, immediate stops. mnrobitaille
Minor update, for one time brake score, on Friday we had a 58% which I did noticed on the brake coach. Even after that, we are still at 93% for lifetime brake score.
