Alyse
Does the Cmax use rear drums or discs? I hope discs because drums are such a pain to work on.
ZOOM
Discs all the way around.

mtb9153
I'm glad to say this is my first 4 wheel disc brake vehicle I've owned. I connected with a company that makes disk brake caliper covers. They are called MGP Caliper Covers (www.calipercovers.com) and they make a very nice cover which looks allot better than those cast calipers. Availble for the C-Max in bright red, black or silver powder coating with the Ford logo engraved. They are pricy at $230.00 but very good quality and easy installation over the stock caliper. I inquired to see if they would make me a set with the factory script C-Max logo engraved using the Factory red "C" & chrome "-Max". They told me sure with an additional $100 tacked on. I'm going to order mine soon and will take some pictures and post them to the forum. Maybe if we got enough interest we could arrange a group purchase and possibly bring the price down? We did this many times with another car club I belonged to back when I owned my GMC Typhoon and Syclone back in my gas guzzler hot rod days. The part number for the C-Max is the same as the 2012 Ford Focus #10216-S-Frd for the regular covers. The custom covers with C-Max logo is #102126-S-Cus when ordering be sure to attach a picture of the factory logo in a .svg format for artwork creation on their computers. However after they make mine it will be in their database for anyone else ordering. Edited November 29, 2012 by mtb9153
joe
I would have one question - Will this cover restrict air circulation and cause overheading of the calipers? rfruth
