Altazi
My new C-Max SEL w/303A & panoramic roof was pretty much perfect, but it did need a bit of a front-end alignment so the steering wheel was "straight" when driving in a straight line (anything that isn't properly aligned drives me nuts - maybe a little OCD here.) How about you all? Did your vehicle need any minor tweaks after you got it?
Jus-A-CMax
No tweak mechanically. I had a major issue with a panel near the gas pedal that kept popping but other than that, its been right as rain (hmmmh...except the MFT and GPS issues which the majority of us had here anyway). SnowStorm
Only that the left rear door closes a bit harder than the others. Dealer is going to look at it when they do the FE upgrade. Rear hatch as well but that may be normal.
armoredsaint
Adjust the seats, mirrors, radios etc... ;)
PWBarrett
Ours had the twitchy steering syndrome at highway speeds until after about 6000 miles when the power steering failed. They replaced the steering gear assembly, and now it's fine. I seem to recall when we got it the tires were a few pounds under-pressured.
JAZ
Dealer prep is supposed to take care of tire pressure: good luck with that. Checking fluid levels is a good idea, too.
Bill-N
I had the rear-hatch-scrapes-the-left-bumper syndrome (it's in these forums somewhere, but not by me). Fixed during 1st service trip.
Wasiechu
We had the rear window on the drivers side that when raise would close, then open. Took (always) four tries. It was a bad motor. Only other thing has been the GPS lagging or showing me out in the trees. Edited August 2, 2013 by Wasiechu
wamba2000
Had a noticeable rattle in the irght side rear of the CMax while in motion.Dealer found that the right rear brake caliper had a both that was cross-threaded and was not secured; removed/reapaired it and has not been an issue since. I am reminded of the 70's-80's vehicles that would not start when you took delivery, or had to make lists of things that did not work.....and we accepted that as normal
homestead
Had a wire harness under the power seat that had a couple pins pull out.

Ahhhhh, those weren't the days! :nonono: Other than the liftgate issue, which has already been fixed, I have had one issue since taking delivery. The inside cover to the Pano Roof needs adjusting for its stop point. Planning on getting it done with the recalibration. Other than that, the new C-MAX has been spot on. No sounds, everything stays good and tight. Edited August 3, 2013 by ScubaDadMiami
METROMAN
Just noticed a big panel located at the drivers side rear cargo area that has popped out & wont stay in place. RH panel is fine. Going to have them check it when we do the new update.
