Laurel
Our $1800-1900 cost is also based on us getting something like 3 million liability just in case. So one can get it cheaper.
666
thanks for someone confirmed that they received the check. now, just need to figure it out what the sequence is.
Tree63
I called Ford Customer line today. Didn't ask about sequencing but they said they are processing remainder by end of month, then mailed out - end result: everyone up here should have theirs before Xmas. roninsd
Laurel, glad you finally got your check. As a founding member of the forum, I think you should have been one of the first to get it! Enjoy your new insurance policy! :)

Phil1336
Odd that C-Max Buyers in the U.S. got $550 Rebate Cheques and Canadians are receiving considerably more at $895. Even with the Vehicle price difference and exchange rate, it appears to be quite significant. Just wondering........
Tree63
I think the one-time payment reflects difference in original and revised FE according to Transport Canada figure, period of time from 2012 original to 2013 revised FE, and higher price for gas at pump in Canada. Remember the impact of cold weather was a part of the recent TSB tuning and all Cdn owners were affected by the original settings being less optimized for chilly times. Bottom line: we're worth it! :)
Roddy
HI:Coming in late here. What are the criteria for this cheque? I just purchased a 2013 'new' off the lot,so I am wondering if this applies to me, or just those who purchased earlier.Anybody know? I feel the answers I get here will be more reliable than a kid in a call centre reading a script.Roddy
shinytop
If you just purchased chances are the window sticker had already been corrected to the new figures. If it had you are not qualified for the check. I bought on May 30 and they changed the estimated MPG two weeks later. Check your window sticker. Laurel
We still don't have our cheque. I phoned Ford Canada a couple of times with no real answer. This time I got a very nice woman with an American accent (who confirms she is in the States so I guess there is no real Ford Canada eh?) who has tracked my missing cheque and will have it re-issued and then phone me with a tracking number. I guess my cheque was somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle.
