  1. I recently traded in my 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid SE for a 2018 Ford EcoSport. Have an Emergency Spare Tire (Donut) available with HD Cover if anyone needs one. Came off a 2012 Ford Fusion. I have used in briefly twice so I know it fits. Same Bolt Pattern an Lug Radius. If you live in SE FL its yours for $50. Local Pick Up Only! I never purchased a Jack Assembly Kit. Used AAA to change the Flat Tire. Great to have on long Trips to avoid a Tow Truck should the Mini-Tire Inflator Kit an Can of Sealant Goo fails
  2. I agree. A Brand New C-Max in SE Trim with the upgraded Sirius Radio an Sync3 is around 26K. Throw in X-Plan an some Cash Incentives, I`d go new.
  3. I assure you, the Customer was given less then 9K in real Dollars as an allowance towards a Trade for another Vehicle. I just traded in my 2013 C-Max SE with 43K Mileage. It was in Ice Storm (Blueish Green) Exterior with Medium Stone Cloth Interior. Spotless inside an out with 4 recently purchased New High End Tires. Car had (2) previous "Incidents, Front & Rear but repairs were done perfectly. Bad Car-Fax Report coupled with low demand for Hybrids in general with currently low Gas prices led to an actual Cash Allowance of 6K towards a 2018 Ford EcoSport purchased at X-Plan pricing. Car Max offered KBB based 4K but since they run their own In-House Auctions now, upped their offer to 5K. When it comes to Used Car Valuations, regardless of mileage an condition, they are all over the spectrum. Whats its worth possibly Retail is a far cry from what you will get in Trade-In Dollars.
  4. Thanks, not sure if the Cost for Shipping would exceed the Value of the Emergency Spare Tire Donut?
  5. Came off a 2012 Ford Fusion. Emergency Spare Tire Donut that fitted an worked perfectly was Size T135/70/16 Figure how much it will cost to Ship FedEx Ground an perhaps I can send it? I have a Shipping Carton that just arrived with a similar 92` Fox Body Mustang 4 Lug 1.08 Radius T125/70/16 Emergency Spare Tire Donut for my 2018 Ford EcoSport.
  6. Just traded in my 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid. Don't need the Emergency Spare Tire Donut an Cover I had for it. I called AAA Once so I know it fits an works. If you live somewhere in South FL get back with me. Local Pick Up or Delivery, (Only).
  7. Just curious, this dead battery problem, is it only effecting early production C-Max`s? My C-Max was built 6/2013 and I have yet to hear of any problems of any nature of C-Max`s built (after) Mid-Summer of 2013?
  8. Yeah, but just like on the first round of (apology) Cheques Ford sent, Canadians will receive considerably larger amounts.
  9. Seriously, does it get any better then this? I purchased my 2013 C-Max SE Hybrid July 31, 2013. Had an MSRP of $26.500 + -. Used my Ford X-Plan (and) with Regional Promotional Discount added $1000 off (plus) a Special Mailed Offer for an additional $750 Discount (and) 36 months financing through Ford Credit at .09% APR. First Ford Rebate Check arrived last Fall for $550 and today, FedEx delivered a surprise envelope with yet (another) check for an additional $475. I don`t give a damn what CR or JD Powers says, I have (No) issue with either Ford or my C-Max. Now, if I can get my "Global Open" Windows (deactivated) so they won`t accidentally open when my Key Fob is in my pocket, I`ll truly be happy!
  10. I`m am almost 70 and I have never experienced such a strangle unexplainable phenomenon. Yesterday, when my Wife returned home from work, she asked if I was aware if I left the Windows (all 4) down since it has recently rained pretty hard. I was totally dumbfounded and bewildered! Today, I return from a few errands, parked the C-Max in the Driveway. Its Summer in Florida so the windows were up and A/C engaged. I went outside a few hours later and (again) all 4 Windows had retracted to the down position. I wish "Click & Clack" were still on NPR Radio to give me a guess on what would cause this odd phenomenon. Do I need a Mechanic or a Priest?
  11. Hogwash! Resale prices are all about Supply versus Demand, Simple! All this (negativity) in regards to the C-Max and Consumer Reports bashings....how many have you seen available on the Auction Block or on Dealers Lots? Near Zero! You would figure that 90% of first year Buyers would be trading their Ford C-Max`s in mass due to their unreliability and Battery issues? Not!
  12. Just curious, I`m assuming that your Lifetime Sirius/XM Membership is for you and not the particular Radio Receiver thats in your current Vehicle, correct? If the Lifetime membership applies to future Vehicle`s equipped with Sirius/XM Radios, fine, otherwise. do you plan on keeping your present Vehicle for the remainder of your Life? Depending on when you plan on trading in your Vehicle for another, why give its future Owner a free Subscription?
  13. The vast (majority) of Ford C-Max Owners have had zero Battery problems with their Vehicle. To insinuate that this Car is a Dud or a Defective product because a small minority of owners have had some issues is absurd. How many used 2013 Ford C-Max`s have you seen for sale either on Dealers Lots or at Auction Houses? Near Zero! If the Vehicle was that bad, disgruntled Owners would be dumping them like crazy, right?
  14. I work Part-Time at Manhiem Auto Auctions Palm Beach FL and I have yet to see (1) 2013/2014 Ford C-Max hit the Auction Block, just saying.........
  15. Whats the complaining about the C-Max Hybrid`s Fuel Economy. 43 MPG Average, yeah, for most Drivers, thats a stretch. 36 to 39 MPG is more realistic. My 2011 Ford Fiesta Hatchback got 33-35 MPG City and 41-43-MPG Highway but look at the difference in size and weight of the two Vehicles. Ford (exceeded) its EPA Fuel Label on its Fiesta! Can`t wait to see my C-Max parked in my Driveway along side my 2015 Mustang Convertible later this year. Bet they will look fine together (regardless) what Consumer Reports says!
  16. Why chance ruining the TPS with the Sealant Goo? If the Mini 12 Volt Tire Inflator won`t get you to a service center to get the tire repaired, time to call for Roadside Assistance (Ford or AAA). Better idea for long Highway Trips is to carry a Mini-Donut Spare in the Cargo area. Late Model Ford Focus Emergency Donut Tire works fine.
  17. After seeing the 2014 Ford C-Max at the FT lauderdale International Auto Show a few weeks ago, I`m glad I jumped on a 2013 last Summer. The slight changes to wheel flares, flaps, hood seal, supposed Transmission Tuning, etc and other hard to identify updates was hardly worth either the wait nor the rebate savings on the MY 2013. First the $1000 rebate, then the special Mailing rebate promotion for an additional $750, and finally the $800 Fuel Adjustment Cheque! Add the .09% 36 month Ford Credit financing, as Jackie Gleason used to say, "How Sweet It Is"!
  18. Have owned my 2013 Ford C-Max SE Hybrid since Aug 1, 2013 have driven 4500k and have yet to have had any problems to date, (zero). Averaging about 38 mpg both city & highway but constant heavy stop & go city driving and 70-75 mph highway. I`m not going to be driven off the road and extend the time of a trip by driving at a maximum 62 mph & hyper-mile to achieve 42 mpg, just saying.......Considering the vehicles size, performance, handling, (and) an MSRP of $26,700, IMO this Vehicle is a Best Buy! If I have one complaint, it would be to have included Sirius/XM Radio as Standard Equipment and make the SYNC Optional. Some of us just don`t want, need, or use all this bluetooth connectivity.
  19. Nope; Just the Emergency Spare Tire (Donut) and a perfect fitting Vinyl Cover I purchased for it that matches the Interior from Amazon. I figure, with Ford Roadside Assistance and AAA, if the Tire Inflator won`t save the day, I`ll just grab my cell phone and wait for help. At least when the Tow Truck arrives, I will be on my way with the Spare Tire.
  20. I got a an emergency Spare Donut for long road trips too. For around town, I just rely on the 12 volt Tire Inflator and hope that its not a large puncture or worse yet, a sidewall breach.
  21. No "Link" but call Marshal Mize Ford in Hixson, TN at 423-593-8235 ask for Jason Sikes in Parts Department and tell him Florida Phil gave you the lead. $55 will do it with Free UPS Shipping assuming he has any Inventory left in stock.
  22. So much from the naysayers that Tire Punctures and Flat Tires seldom happen unless your driving on worn out Tires. Yesterday I found my 8 month old C-Max with 4100 miles driven parked in my driveway with a completely deflated rear Tire! Used a portable 12 volt Tire Inflator that quickly put 35 pounds of air into the Tire. Drove the Vehicle a few miles to my closest Sam`s Club where they dismounted the Tire from the Rim and completed the repair using a combination of interior "patch-plug" due to the size of the puncture caused by a massive piece of chipped Tile that penetrated deep into the tread. Bad enough Ford and other Vehicle manufacturers got away from the full size spare and now even the Emergency (Donut) Temporary Tire and Jack Assembly is history. Weight reduction? Fuel Economy? How about simply cost savings times tens of thousands of Vehicles built and sold. If you needed to use the Tire Sealant Goo, add the cost of replacing your TPS too.
  23. Not sure if any other C-Max Owners have been irritated by having something fall on the ground when the Rear Hatch Door is opened due to things shifting around during driving. The last straw for me was when my C Crane Portable Radio dropped suddenly unto my driveway pavers upon the Hatch opening. I`ve done the "Net" thing before but got tired of the tangling. Found the perfect solution. Ford Genuine Accessories makes a Standard Pop-Up Cargo Organizer that fits perfectly and clips into place using the available fastening points, and lays (flat) when not in use. Item Number AE5Z-78115A00-B. Retails for about $80. Grabbed one for an offer of $55 on Ebay from Marshall-Sikes Ford in Hixson, TN on their Ebay Listing under 2013 Ford C-Max Accessories. They got a few more I believe left over from previous Customer "special orders" that never picked them up. Heavy Duty Ford OEM product with perfect fit and color match. No more surprises of things falling out when the Rear Hatch is opened.
  24. Thanks for the "Shot" and your recommendation but I already do. Who knows, if you live long enough to become an aging Dinosaur like myself, you too may start (self-medicating). BTW, I guess since my 2013 Ford C-Max SE Hybrid was a later built Unit, July 2013, mine already had that little Cup Divider installed. Yet another "unsolved mystery" solved, eh? Cheers
  25. I still don`t get it? Exactly what does this "divider" accomplish? A divider that separates the existing two Cup Holder slots? How about a picture of the devise "in-place" showing before and after rather then displaying it laying next to a Computer Keyboard. I`ll remit Funds through PayPal as soon as I see it displayed.
