fotomoto
Thanks Bill. I had the P0600 code (Control Serial Communication Link Malfunction) a few weeks into ownership along with some weird air temperature readings on the main display. I attributed it to (unknowingly at the time) power washing the temperature sensor which is under the right mirror the day before. I reset it and it has yet to return 7 months later. Sparky
I have the "Check Engine" light on with DTC: P0D80. I can not find this code on any list. Anyone know this one?
wab
I googled your code (obd P0D80) and found a PDF. Here’s the link.http://www.motorcraftservice.com/vdirs/diagnostics/pdf/OBDSM1402_HEV.pdf Copied from page 141 "Battery Charge Control Module Functional Check Operation: DTCs P0D59 - Proximity Detection Circuit High. P0D80 - Battery Charger Input Circuit/Open. Monitor execution P0D59: Charger is ON, PSR applied or active EVSE connected P0D80: On-Plug, EVSE active. connected to EVSE , and S2 closed Monitor Sequence None Sensors OK Monitoring Duration 60 sec" and "Battery Charge Control Module Functional malfunction thresholds: P0D59 - EVSE proximity circuit detected open. Proximity circuit detected >4.8V DC for 5 seconds. P0D80 – A/C Utility input not present after EVSE S2 switch closed. A/C Input voltage < 85 VAC for 30" Sparky
ceemax71
EVSE = Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (plug-in high-voltage battery charger) From the shop manual, DTC P0D80 could be due to a problem with one of the following:EVSEVehicle Charge PortHigh voltage cable or AC input inline fusesHome wiring directly providing ACSOBDM (Secondary On-Board Diagnostic Module) It looks like the DTC could be triggered if the EVSE is plugged into the charge port and the EVSE does not have AC power.Make sure the electrical outlet that the EVSE is plugged into is working.
