TopherTheME Posted September 2, 2014 Report Share Posted September 2, 2014 I'm looking for TPM sensors for a winter wheel set but don't want to pay $60 a sensor from the dealer. The Ford OEM part# for the original sensor is 1A189(TPMS-12) but I can't find it from other suppliers. Will any Ford TPM sensor work with the C-Max? kostby Posted September 2, 2014 Report Share Posted September 2, 2014 TireRack.com (headquartered in South Bend, IN with additional shipping locations) sells a package of 4 Ford-compatible 315MHz TPMS sensors for $128 plus $16 for metal valve stems, when purchased with wheels. The site says 'talk to a sales specialist' to purchase the sensors separately, so they're probably more than $32 each but probably less than $60 each. The cheapest place I've seen to buy a set is off ebay. The Tirerack price for sensors is the same if you buy wheels or not.
