Noah Harbinger
I have the CD from Helm, but need to figure out easy way to send pics and info. Easier to send by email. IMO :) Paul Have you looked at how the raw manual is stored? I'm curious if there's a way to process the information to be usable on a Mac. If it's just repackaged HTML files and images (i.e. if it's stored as Windows Help files), it should be easy to script.
ls973800
I have purchased the Ford DVD Service manuals over the years from different sellers on eBay. ALL of them were described as not being copied, burned, or pirated copies as some of the ones listed by other sellers clearly are. I believe they are out dated discs which the dealership no longer has a need for. Every one I have ever purchased also contains the entire line up of Ford and Lincoln vehicles for the years that are listed on the DVD. So the one for 2012-2013 has all of the vehicles that were produced that year and include Workshop and Wiring. They also have information which I can not access because I don't have a dealer code. This includes some on-line information such as TSB's and Recalls from what I can tell. Every DVD is also labeled with an experation date. The 2012-2013 one I have is July 2013. That means that in order for me to view the contents, I have to back date my computer before loading the disc to a date before July 2013. Easy enough to do, and no big deal. I have been told there are programs that can automatically back date the computer when the disc is put in, but for as little as I use it, I don't need such a program. You can also choose English or French as a language to view the contents from what is listed once you open the contents, but I have never tried anything other than English. Picture of DVD is only blurry because of my camera movement and not because of the quality on the DVD.
