Cat Max
Hey everyone! I have had a glorious one week in driving my Max and I have some questions, perhaps dumb-- no most likely dumb- but... Is there an inside button/lever for the back hatch? I cannot seem to find one? My adult back seat passengers complained about the inability of them to unlock and let themselves out... I guess that that is unfixable? The Max automatically locks all doors in drive, any way to change that... or that the Max bings at me when I am unseatbelted.. any way to change these? thanks! shinytop
If you have a power liftgate you should have a button on the dashboard. Here is the manual's entry on rear unlocking of door:Opening a Rear Door from InsidePull the interior door release handle twiceto unlock and open a rear door. The firstpull unlocks the door and the second pullwill unlatch the door. Cat Max and Smiling Jack

The key FOB has one too, but you probably don't have that ? You can change the lock functions by going into the programming mode. Adrian_L
Don't feel bad. I didn't realize the door itself had a button on the inside. I was reaching up and over to close the door. And I figured the dashboard button was faulty because I was always in D when I tried to use it.
