greencmax
Hi allI get a very annoying whistling noise from the vents when set on heat >= 72F/ ~ 2-3 fan speed. It is like tea kettle whistling. I either need to go down to 1 speed fan setting or go all the way to max speed to mask the noise.Any one else having the same issue, please advise. Thanks
fotomoto
No issues with my CMax but I've had whistling sounds before in older vehicles due to foreign objects (leaves, paper) getting sucked into the system (no filters back then). wab
Has your cabin filter been changed?
SnowStorm
Have heard a whistle a few times but IIRC only at high fan speed. Don't use that speed much so it hasn't really been a problem. Tried it just now at max speed in combinations of Recirc ON/OFF and floor/dash vents - no whistle.

Noah Harbinger
Definitely not the whistling sound I was thinking of. I leave the rear seat louvre in the console open ever so slightly to prevent it from whistly.
