Jimmy Fett Posted May 19, 2016 Report Share Posted May 19, 2016 Hi. I bought a 2013 C-Max Energi this past weekend and I'm still trying to navigate all of the new bells and whistles. The sheer number of options is baffling. I've noticed that I have access to MyFord Mobile but when I tried to register my vehicle it says that it is already registered to another email address, which I presume is the former owner. Not only would I like to have full access to this option but I would like to limit the former owner's access to my vehicle. Does anyone have any guidance in this matter? I don't see on the MFM site an option to contact the administrators. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As an aside, I'm excited to be part of this community and am pleased to see so many owners who are obviously as enamored with their vehicles as I am, even after years of ownership. I had an issue when I originally registered and they corrected things while on the phone. I don't recall whether they transferred my call or took care of it themselves. Hi Jimmy Fett, Congrats on your purchase! Try a master reset: http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/myford-touch/settings/how-to-perform-a-master-reset.html The reset will disassociate your vehicle from all MyFord Mobile accounts. When you log back into the app or site, you will be prompted to add a vehicle. If asked to retrieve historical data, select NO. Let me know if this helps.
