ptjones
I sniffed all over inside of MADMAX and changed cabin filter, narrowed the smell to HVB cooling tubing/fan. I have to tare more stuff apart to get inside for a look to see what is going on. :headscratch: Has anyone else noticed this problem? SnowStorm
Does it small like a rodent or what? We haul so many weird things I'm not sure I would notice a strange smell! Hope you find the cause.
homestead
That is what I was thinking too, small rodent crawled in and died.
ptjones
Appears to be coming from HVB Fan Ducting and shows up after the HVB warms up some. Maybe this weekend I can tear it apart. Paul

ptjones
I think I figured it out, had some milk bottle leak in the back and went down the back covers to metal floor at which point it went from side to side and dried up. When it warms up back their the HVB fan blows the odor all around. I will see if cleaning it up fixes the problem. I did get to the point where I could have removed the HVB after 4 hrs of tearing the back apart, what a big job. :drop: Paul obob
jestevens
Sorry Paul, I hope you were able to get all of it. I've often thought about putting some sort of foam filter on those air intake vents but then I think well, it's not really designed for it and I'd hate for it to get not enough air.
