If it's a private sale on CL have you considered just asking the former owner? If someone asked me if I had problems with a car I would be honest with them, although at that mileage they might have not had any problems but you might. I have about 110Kmi on my 2013 SEL and still everything original except for 12V battery. I just had it in for new tires and oil service and tech said no leaks. I drive mostly suburbs driving with occasional highway trips on the weekend. Well I used to anyway - getting GREAT savings on gas now that car mostly sits in driveway. It wasn't just MPG that attracted me to the C-MAX though - it's a really nice car for the price.
