One other benefit of the Hybrid Escape seems to be that it has a compact spare tire. I was able to get by using tire plugs and going to Ford Dealer the next day but it wasn't really fun. Otherwise I do like my C-MAX.

Rav4 hybrid is the only one I'd consider at this point (until/unless Honda CRV hybrid improves). My real preference is to see the Ford Transit Connect hybridized; that could be ideal (although I'd still be leery given Ford's very poor build quality with our 2 cmaxes). Greg

Last post from the admin was Dec 31st in this thread saying he was working on the merge: I guess it didn't go smoothly. I mean I'm fine posting here going forward (honestly it would have been better to start with one site anyway). But there were so many useful posts on the energi forum. Even if the admin would put the old site back up for a week or two we could work to save some of the most useful content. It just sucks to have it vanish into thin air like that, especially when the admin posted that he has a backup of the site. So nothing's truly gone, it's just not available. Frustrating!
