Just bought my first Hybrid. A beautiful 2015 C-Max SE. loving it so far. Thanks for letting me join. I’m looking forward to learning more about my car.

The car applies regenerative braking and then towards complete stop applies the physical brakes. The owner's manual notes that a squealing sound may be a sign of worn brake pad linings. I'd check or have them checked out. Sorry to read about the undisclosed damage. Those are significantly large. Do you think it possibly occurred during transport to you? Sometimes pulling a fuse or disconnect a cable to the 12V battery gets the system to work properly again. (I remember this from experience with Sync 2. I hope it's the same for your Sync 3).

Didn't realize the Sync 3 cars locked up too. Thought it was just the 2013-2015 that needed fuse 79 pulled once in a while. Is it working better now?

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but if you guys are still active and are still curious, yes you can use focus suspension. Here’s my 2014 with Godspeed coilovers for a focus of equivalent year. Wheels are Konig ampliform. The rear springs are adjusted as high as they go unfortunately due to the low spring rate. I’m currently talking with Godspeed to see if they offer a stiffer spring for the rear so I can raise it up in winter.

Owned one year now, bought used at a dealer. Started at 23.500 miles, now at 51k so it gets used by me when I'm not on the motorcycle, which also sees 14k a year. Then my wife takes it when I'm not using it.
