  1. My post above was not my best >500, but no picture of the others. My best distance was 547 miles/12.322 gal/44.4 mpg June 8, 2013 weather was what I consider neutral, not too hot and not too cold. My best mileage was 519 miles/11.257 gal/46.1 mpg June 20, 2013, that was my next fill-up from June 8th..Same weather. I hadn't realized what the heat had done. And Jeff - I try to use EV, but the landscape around here does not help, I do try to "maximize" on the downhills.
  2. I am officially in the club. It was a struggle, but I have made it!

    500 miles

From the album: Liz's Gray Lady

    Just over 500 Miles
  5. Lesson that I learned, if on a call do not turn off the car until you finish the call. My sync did some weird stuff the first and only time I did this.
  6. Yes, to answer your question, the trip odometer does re-set to 0 when you re-set the trip screen and the avg mpg. I also re-set the avg mpg on the screen that just shows that.
  7. Just curious, mtb9153, do you re-set your avg mpg at each fill-up on your Trip 1 screen? I re-set mine at each fill-up and re-set the trip odometer. I am averaging higher avg mpg than you are showing here around 45 avg mpg, but I cannot seem to make it to that 500 mile tank. I am now getting close to 10,000 miles on my Gray Lady. My Lifetime avg mpg I have not re-set since we brought the car home and it's at 42.1.
  8. It seems that I only have the loud noise when I turn the temp to "Lo" to help cool down the car quickly when first starting up the road. If I adjust the temp up towards 70 and up, turn it off and then back on..the noise goes away. I will have them check it next time I go in.
  9. Mine does that, too. And I agree with you, that it doesn't seem to be right.
  10. I use to use the Miche, too. It's a good size, but it is definitely not squooshable - and it was heavy even hardly with anything in it so I gave it up.
  11. I finally named mine when I joined Fuelly.com - Gray Lady, sometimes I call her Lady Gray - and thought about naming her Fifty for some unknown reason, but wasn't sure I wanted to have to explain that to my grandkids. I couldn't do Maxine - because that was my mom's name, but who knows, she may have liked it.
  12. I didn't get one, either time for the updates and recall. They said because it was only a 2 -3 hour job. Unfortunately, the job both times took the entire day. Rather inconvenient.
  13. The dealer/service guy told me that there is no update.. the 12M02 is just a warranty extension. If anyone finds out differently, please let me know.
  14. Headline and FE Update done yesterday afternoon. Took it in a 9 AM - I don't think they even looked at it until after lunch and it was ready about 4 PM. Everything is working great. Took the highway this morning and was able to stay in EV above 65 - as long as the battery held out. I also checked the time on the car when I took it in and when I picked it up and looks like they had it started for about 3 hours.
  15. Hey Adair, I'm wondering if you can check the SYNC my ride sight to see if the update was done...not sure if this would show up? Anyone know? Also ETIS - cause I know after I got the MFT update done it appeared on the syncmyride website that I had the update and it disappeared off of the ETIS.
  16. Yes, I have already checked the ETIS and both actions show up. I planned to print it off to show them on Wednesday. I have not really been impressed with the service at my dealer...I'm hoping it gets better.
  17. I think the dealer's are a little confused. I called mine yesterday about the recall (headliner) and the FE update. The guy first said that all was needed for the recall was me to bring it in for an inspection, asked me for the recall code and then he put me on hold. So that's getting done next Wednesday, and I asked if the FE update could be done at the same time - and he said, "Oh, the Sync update?, Yeah we can do that then too..." So not sure if he's talking about the MFT update that we got last month or what..guess I'll find out on Wednesday, the 7th.
  18. Assume Ceemax71 means build date "prior" not "after" on each of his remarks above cause mine is 1/7/13 build date and it is in the recall and I can also get the FE update. I thought I also read that the dealer can't sell one off the lot until they have fixed the roof. It is a great car and I am glad that are able to give us updates even after we have purchased - keeps the car young!
  19. "Here is something very interesting, the update seems to have reset all my regen miles from my lifetime summary?!?!" That happened with the Sync update to me...
  20. First all, welcome to the Forum. I am not 100% positive, but I don't think the power driver's seat comes on the SE with any package. Anyone know for sure?

    Mystery Indicator

Not to be so detailed...but I think it's amber. :runaway: I think you should be able to push it to unlock the doors...In fact, I admit I tried that.
  22. I had to slam on the brakes this morning, some "jackwagon" pulled out in front of me from the gas station. I have never in my life slammed on the brakes so hard, I was going about 35-40, I nearly t-boned him. My "Gray Lady" stopped within 4 feet of his driver door and he just waves. I was a little shook up and didn't see the brake score. :rant2:
  23. I know I wondered the same thing since I could open it very easily when I walked up to the car. So, I did try leaving my key in the house and going out and yes, it is locked. Also, it locks with the rest of the doors when driving and won't unlock until you put the car in park. And the reason I know this is....we were leaving the house and my husband decided that something needed to go in the back, so I stopped the car, he hopped out, but was unable to open the hatch until I put the car in park. Go figure - guess they don't want you rolling over anyone back there or taking off with them holding onto the liftgate... :skateboard:
  24. bgs4859, hope you don't have to wait too long. You will love the C-Max. I haven't yet contacted the dealer about the recall, but figure I will get a letter notification when the dealers are ready to handle the fix. Welcome to the forum, you will meet lots of great people here and everyone is so helpful.
