  1. I watch my TFT pretty close and it doesn't change very quickly up or down. WT is a different story, it changes very quickly. ;) Paul
  2. I only use the ICE 52% of the time(Life Time) and I used Mobil 1 0W-20W Synthetic this last oil change so I should be able to go to 20K odometer reading. :) BTW I have about 13K mi. on this oil change and I haven't used any oil. Also I have 105K mi. on the car. :happy feet: Paul
  3. If the ICE is turning over, the Trans Pump would also be working. I didn't find MotorCraft synthetic MERCON LV fluid. I have Valvoline Synthetic MAX LIFE MERCON LV Trans Fluid and there are several other oil companies that also have it. It is beginning to look like heat is being transferred from ICE to Trans so that the higher the ICE Temp, the higher Trans Temp. On the FWY I try to get WT above 215*F so shutters will open allowing cooler air to go through Tans Cooler and then cooling TFT down. This may also be making the Trans to get hotter before shutters open. It seems most Posters aren't getting WT up to 202*F which means they aren't getting max MPG's. :) Paul
  4. Our Trans uses MERCON LV Fluid which isn't Synthetic Oil. :) Paul
  5. Both NRG and Hybrid have same Trans Cooler, but NRG has external electric pump that runs all the timeand Hybrid has internal pump driven by ICE.so it only pumps when ICE is on. :) Paul
  6. I still need to video the shutter operations vs WT and speed. ;) It looks like aluminum heat sinks have lowered my TFT by 5*F anyways so the highest temps I'm seeing are high 180's, which isn't bad and when I get a chance I'll put in synthetic Trans Fluid. to add more protection. hybridbear has an Energi Fusion that the Trans Pump runs all the time and he has seen TFT of 220*F ;) Paul
  7. iammikeo I like the U tube video after your video of the FORD GT40's racing around the track. COOL! :) Paul
  8. Using my process at 64Kmi. there was only 1/64" difference between the inside and outside of tire and I used 50psi. That was with using Factory alignment settings, I replaced tires at 64Kmi. :) Paul
  9. In my case I just put the tires/wheels on the opposite side of car which reverses the direction of rotation without removing tires off of rims. No expense involved that way. :) Paul
  10. Sounds like tires are the problem, that's why I stayed with the Michelin's. :) Paul
  11. I believe 60mpg came from a 2012 NEWS release that some Reporters in SOCAL did Test Drive trying to get the best MPG's they could. My first tank in Oct. 2012 I got 47mpg with mostly HWY driving, FORD Dealer put Premium Gas in it. With temps in the 90's you should be able to get atleast 45mpg on the HWY with A/C off. BTW I have gotten over 61mpg four times on a tank on trips with the best at 68.3mpg so it can be done. My current LifeTime MPG 47.4 and Fuelly 46.5 with 82% HWY so if you are willing to put the effort in to it you can get 47/47/47. :) Paul
  12. Don't need the extra seats, but 6" of cargo space would be real nice. :) Paul
  13. Might be an issue if you were driving for an hour at 70mph on a 90*F day. I won't worry about it if you were going slow and cooler day and less time. Otherwise I would remove bottom cover. Wait a minute, you don't have shutters so you could leave Grill Covers on all the time, never take them off. Cool! :happy feet: :) Paul
  14. This is what Grill Covers look like.
  15. It is difficult to get good MPG's driving just 2miles, I'd be using Grill Covers and ICE Block heater to improve MPG's. ;) Paul
  16. I SCCA raced my 86 Comp Delete SVO in 86-87 season with GT sway bar and little bigger cam, It was fun racing at Riverside,CA and FireBird, AZ. Also SVO/Shelby event at Road America. :) Paul
  17. I had a couple of SVO Mustang's and the bi-plane wing did look pretty good. :) Paul
  18. I think it is unreasonable to take that long to get a replacement, hopefully they can do it sooner. :waiting: Paul
  19. Plus 3 Golfer when I checked shutters a while ago shutters were always open with the A/C on. Also when I did my FWY video test the shutters would open at 215*F WT and close at 214*F WT going 65-70 mph. At 50 mph the shutters opened 210*F WT. I will have to look to see if I can record this some how. :) Paul
  20. As important as total mileage is type of driving, mostly City I won't worry about it, if HWY make sure you are covered by Warranty. ;) Paul
  21. I haven't had anymore problems other than I don't like that the message comes up to shut down the radio after shutting down the car. It said the battery is low so it is shutting down. ;) Paul
  22. I don't think that is going to happen, they didn't tell the Dealer why the trans failed when asked. ;) Paul
