  1. If i get an SE for under 27,000 with MFT then will we be safe with the battery issues? The car will be driven 4-5 days a week.
  2. I thought it was only SE's with those buttons? Does an SE start at 29,000?
  3. My wife is in doubt of getting a C-max now because she's read on other forums about the dead battery issue. Is the issue happening on the SE models with all those buttons in the center?? She didn't beleive me when I told her that. If we like the C-max enough, and decide to lease one then it might be a car we might keep after the lease. Plus the MFT system seems easier to use than all those buttons in the center and that tiny screen.
  4. My wife seems to want the one without my ford touch but all those buttons crammed in the middle looks terrible. How do I convince her my ford touch is the way to go??
  5. Have either of you reached out to Ashley from Ford? Find and PM her on here. She will help.
  6. So you have the seats warm up before turning on the rest of the heat to the car?
  7. Because I noticed the SE includes push to start, rear sensor but with the blue candy color it's another 395.00. Since we live in Michigan we might get the winter package. Anyone have the heated manual cloth seats? Chime in and share your experience with them.
  8. The wife is fine with an SE. Can't you get an SEL base model for a little above 28,000?
  9. So what do i tell my dealer? Make sure before delivery that you check the battery?
  10. So is the dead battery issue happening on the C-max hybrid or energi? Last thing I want to do is get a hybrid and run into this problem.
  11. I was told there's no early bird program going on. Wondering how Ford picked yours up? Does the energi start at 36,000?
  12. We have 6 payments to go on our current lease so unless Ford has an early bird program we will have to wait. We are at 20,000 miles and 6 months to go. Is it better to turn it in early to avoid going over on miles or go over miles and roll into next lease?
  13. As much as We both like the blue candy color is it really worth the extra 395 for it? We don't want black or oxford white. It is between the Grey, Ruby Red or Candy Blue.
  14. So what does the active noise control exactly do? Do you not here the engine as much?
  15. Isn't that dangerous if it affects being able to hear emergency vehicles due to the noise canceling feature?
  16. Does it have a better turning radius than a mini van? My wife had a rental mini van and she had a tough time getting into parking spaces with it.
  17. Is the oxford white a dull white? My sales guy said it's a dull white and that the metallic's look better? There's white platinum but that runs 600 extra.
  18. Some have mentioned they hate the wide turning radius on the C-max. What are they referring to and is it really that bad?
  19. At least Ford is compensating C-max owners. We have yet to test drive one but from what I've read on this forum there's a lot of happy owners.
  20. Now if we were to lease a c-max and fall in love with driving it and decided to buy it at the end of the lease, can we buy an extended warranty for it?
  21. My sales guy is one of the most honest sales guy's i've known. He will tell you straight up how it is. I said can you price out a titanium Focus? and he said it's not even worth it on a lease since there's no big incentives when it comes to leasing them but there seems to be a big rebate on an Escape titanium. Ford should do more advertising on the C-max. They should encourage dealers to up sell the C-max if someone wants a Focus but thinks the Focus may be too small. I've watched numerous reviews and one review mentioned the C-max is a great mini van alternative. My wife was wanting a Focus and still does because of a cheap lease payment but when I showed her the difference in head room she was thinking C-max. I mentioned it should be a car we both can drive.
  22. If Ford thought the C-max wasn't doing well they wouldn't of bothered coming out with a 2015 model. The C-max is one of those misleading cars that looks small but when you get inside there's tons of room. Same thing as an Escape. The 2016 model will probably get a redesign and new options.
  23. Wonder why they didn't make any minor changes?
  24. It's a fantastic deal and They don't have a deal like that for the C-max and the most I've seen on an electric one is a 6,000 rebate. My wife and I drive each other's cars a lot and although she can fit into a focus, I have an issue with the headroom. I'd much rather get a C-max Hybrid.
  25. I saw this C-max and it's a pretty good configuration. I forgot where but I read on this forum somewhere where the cloth heated seats felt different as far as comfort goes than the Cloth seats that weren't heated. Since we live in Michigan, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get the winter package. I tried to play around with the basic radio but I couldn't see my wife or myself using that esp when trying to drive on the road.
