Test drove the C-max a few days ago and Loved it! Sales guy we deal with gave me a silver one to test drive but they also had this Color in stock and my wife liked it better and I do too. Wife loved it when she took it for a test drive. We both thought it is very roomy, amazingly quiet on the inside cabin and drives fantastic!

I'll never own a Prius. Who cares if it gets 50 mpg or that you can recline and move the seats back. I sat in one in the showroom and moved the passenger seat up and drivers seat and there's plenty of room in the back. The C-max rides amazing!!! The Prius can suck it.

Base SEL was quoted to us at 500 a month. I about rolled over when I heard that. Asked why and he said bc the residual value is low on that model.

I like this Color even more because Black is a pain to keep clean. My wife wants this color so glad to hear it looks clean.

In order to get the Sensor on the SE we have to get the 203 package but we just want the sensor part. Is it possible for the dealer to install this?

All I can tell you is if you want a 2014 model, they have a decent rebate on them if you lease. If you buy there are deals to be had. The SEL has a lower residual value than the SE model. I was quoted 388 a month vs 500 a month on the C--max SEL and that was just the Base one. I will say that when the 2015 models come out usually there aren't any rebates or incentives.

So my wife likes this color better than Silver and wants to go with Ice Storm instead. Not taking anything away from Silver but did she make a good choice?

We get not even 25 MPG with Escape on the E-way. We have a 4 wheel drive Escape.

So my wife drives The E-way 5 days a week and we drive the rest City when we go out to eat, movies, grocery shopping. We would be coming from a 2013 Ford Escape. Wondering how much we would save in Gas a month? My wife estimates 70 bucks but I know it has to be higher than that. Any guesses on what gas savings would be? I know she is light on the brakes. For a 3 year Lease on a 2014 C-max SE was quoted 388. Right now we're paying 438 a month on our Escape so it would save 50 bucks on the lease payment if we pulled the trigger and did something Thursday. Any advice on the Gas savings Gladly helps.

I did see that :( I am undecided between Sterling Gray and Candy Blue. My wife doesn't care which color we get except Black. Our last two leases we had were black cars.

So coming from black is this a good choice over the candy blue?

Love the black but its a Pita to keep clean.

So if you accelerate gradually from when you're stopped at a light to stay in ev mode won't someone behind you get ticked off since it won't move like a non hybrid car?

My questions are how does EV mode work on the Hybrid? How long do you stay in that mode? Share your tips for staying in EV.

I would buy one. Like you said it will push her forward and should solve her issue.

Guy from the Ford relationship center told me instead of resetting the MPG average every time you fill up, he said only reset the trip part and let the mpg go a few trips and then reset it and you should see MPG improve since the computer can only track a few trips at a time.

My sales guy says the oxford white looks dull and boring? He said he likes the metallic better. Is oxford white really that bad?

if they don't have the color we want and configuration is it better to have it ordered through factory now then try to have the dealer find it? I like the blue Candy color as does my wife. Right now it is tough to find the configuration we want in that color.

I'm Confused about the C-max X- Plan Pricing. The SEL discount shows $25,964 plus 825.00 destination charge and 395.00 Blue Candy Color charge bringing it to $27,147 before any incentives that may be going on. However my dealership shows $1500 Retail Customer Cash and $1000 Ford Credit Retail Bonus Customer Cash. My Next question is that only when you finance the car and not lease it? I'd love to get it for around $25,000 if those are the leasing incentives but I'm not sure. I don't really want to bug my dealer yet since we're a few months away from being able to do the early Bird deal. I Figured I would ask here to see if anyone knew anything about how the X-plan works and these incentives.

The Dealer website updated their site and doesn't show x plan pricing anymore. Since Ford Came out with an early Bird where they waive 3 payments we may be able to get out early in August or September.

If I buy a 2014 model, shouldnt it have a build date of 2013? I thought Ford fixed this issue in a software update?
