Got a call from the Ford dealer today. My Ruby Red C-Max has arrived! Picking it up tomorrow after work. Early Christmas present. Will have the next five days to "play" with it. Placed my order October 13, so it took just about 10 weeks.

Model: C-Max Hybrid SEL (Ruby Red) Date Ordered: Saturday, 10/13/2012 Promised Delivery time: wouldn't commit VIN Available: ? Finally called and got it last week Actual Build Date: 11/15/12 Estimated Delvery Date: This week or next week The salesman has not been terribly forthcoming with details. When I placed my order he said he would call when he got my VIN but didn't. I'm a little frustrated with the lack of detail, but I guess not enough to bug him too much. I am hoping for delivery this week since it was built 4 weeks ago!

I've seen a lot of talk on the boards about floor mats. I was thinking the car came with a set. Am I wrong?

The fine print on the incentive says you have to "take delivery from dealer stock". The dealer wouldn't sell me a C-Max off the lot with X-Plan pricing, but were happy to order one for me. Does anyone know if I can get the incentive?

I was hoping for the Blind spot information system on the C-Max.

I took a test drive in a C-Max with the panoramic sunroof. I live in the Pacific Northwest and with all our gray days I loved the extra light the sunroof provided. Wouldn't have ordered one without it!

Thanks for the info, Laurel. Your husband was correct. In a car with a key you have an "accessory" position to turn on the radio without starting the car, and I wondered how that worked with the push start. Glad you could read between the lines of my poorly worded question.

Glad to hear that there are such loyal Ford owners out there. We have owned a couple Ford trucks, but the C-Max will be our first car.

I was all set to buy the new Fusion Hybrid. I had driven a 2012 Fusion and really liked it. My main hesitation with the Fusion was the low drivers seating position. I have been driving a minivan for years and really like the seat position compared to sedans. I heard about the C-Max through an article on the Internet and was immediately intrigued. Once I saw one and drove it I was hooked! Also, I love all the car tech!

I am still waiting for delivery of my C-Max, but I was looking through the owners manual to educate myself. I didn't see anything in there about power to the radio and other accessories for the SEL with push button start. My husband thought the radio played on the car we test drove until the doors were opened, but he wasn't sure. Has anyone paid attention to this?

Ordered my C-Max in early October. Dealer tells me it is scheduled to ship this week. Found this forum a few days ago. Lots of great information. Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences!
