    Hi!

I know the feeling, the C-Max is my Wife's car as well!! She keeps telling me that I need to get my own C-Max!!
  2. We accidently ran into this situation. I dropped my Wife off at Outback so that I could look for a parking space but she had the key fob. Heard the horn chirp but at least the car continued to run until I found a parking place.
  3. To each his own, we prefer leather seats. I actually switched out the cloth seats in my Truck with leather, no regrets!! The C-Max is my Wife's car and she loves it! She is averaging 44 mpg which is excellent for her driving style! I am confident this car is capable of 50 mpg which was my target goal when we decided to buy a hybrid. No Prius for us!!!!!
  4. Other than it will be all electric, I am NOT liking it!
  5. Congrats!! My Wife has had her C-Max for a little over 6 months now and she absolutely loves it! Her average MPG so far is at 44, but down here we don't have very much cold weather to deal with.
  6. My Wife spotted one yesterday and she was NOT happy because it was parked too close to hers!!
  7. Welcome to the Forum! You would think living in Florida that it would have been easy to find one with a Sunroof! Not!!! We had to go about 200 miles North to find ours! ( Actually our local Ford dealer found it ) My Wife would have prefered an opening Sunroof but other than that she got all the options that she wanted ( 303A package ) and she absolutely loves her C-Max!!! :love_shower:
  8. I can claim ownership to this club but not for the CMax. It would be for my Dodge Truck! I am away on business for long periods of time and drove the Truck for less than 500 miles last year! My biggest concern would be the gas aging. I would add some fresh gas to it every now and then even if you don't really need it.
  9. We may get into the Upper 80's today! Forecast High calls for 85. My Wife is wanting to turn the AC back on in the house. We watch the Tampa Bay Weather Forecasts but you can generally add at least 5 degrees to that. Also, we live about 70 miles farther south from where you are and that probably makes a difference as well. Getting back on topic as for Gas Mileage it really depends on who is doing the driving! My Wife has yet to get 600 miles out of a tank! If I was the primary driver of this car I am confident I would be able to get at least 600 miles out of every tank of gas!!
  10. It was down here!! My Wife wanted to turn the AC back on but we got by without it!
  11. Congrats!! Our first hybrid as well! My Wife is trying to get me to trade in my Truck for another one!
  12. My Wife's average MPG is slowly creeping up.. now at 44 mpg probably due to not running the AC as much although we have had temps as high as 85 degrees for the past week! I have been getting 50 plus just about every time but I don't drive it that much.
  13. Congrats! My Wife loves her C-Max so much that she is trying to get me to trade in my Truck for one as well! ( aint gonna happen! )
  14. All is well at 6 months and 6600 miles!
  15. A guy in a Silver C-Max followed us into the Mc'Ds parking lot yesterday. We had a nice chat with him while eating breakfast. Turns out he bought his in June a couple weeks before we got ours.
  16. Blue candy is still my favorite color, but my wife thought it was too much!!
  17. Great Start! The C-Max is our first hybrid as well!
  18. Only 540 miles on a tank of gas! My Wife even does better than that!
  19. Sounds familiar?? Is that the Ford Dealer located by I-4 and Hwy 27?? We stopped by there once to look at some cars but we bought ours at our local dealer in Lake Wales.
  20. We are somewhere in the middle at 36 cents per gallon, my Wife get's that back by buying our groceries at Winn-Dixie!
  21. Nitrogen works well for maintaining tire pressure, unless you happen to pickup a nail or something. There is a tire dealer where we live that will do it for $20 dollars plus top off for free if necessary.
  22. Tire pressure is very important for mileage as well as tread wear. For those that can't seem to remember to check their tire pressure you can have your tires filled with nitrogen.
  23. I was thinking it would be nice to have a power sunshade for the front window like the one we have for the pano roof!
  24. So, what is Maxus getting for Christmas?? lol.. Nothing for our C-Max, but my Truck is getting a makeover!
  25. Price of oil still going down even with all of the problems in the Middle East!! Gas Prices might come down to $3, hopefully .. I still have a "thirsty" Truck to fill up!!!
