Hi I have 2013 SEL and it will give me the message after a few minutes so I leave the ignition on if I want to listen when parked. Not sure if the battery is smaller or what. Doesn't bother me to much. Would rather the warning than the dead battery. Not much staying or reserve power Inguess.

Hi Took it to HHR dealer. They looked at it, brought it back wet after testing then told me that the auto sensing wipers didn't work because I didn't have them on my car. I told him that was odd because the do come on all by themselves under pelting rain. I took the service writer out to the car and showed him that I did. He said no you don't have them. My service tec checked it out. I told him to go get a glass of water and throw it hard at the top center of the windshield where the sensor is located. He did and the wipers made a swip. He then said that I had the wipers on intermittent. I could not belive it. He said there would be a seperate control arm off the steering wheel if I indeed had sensor wipers. I then showed him in the owners manual that he was wrong. About that time a tec came by and asked what are you doing. The service writer explained he could b Not get me to understand that they were intermittent wipers. He walked up and put his finger over the sensor and they swiped. After doing this several times he told the sevice writer that he was wrong and there was no doubt they were sensor wipers. The service writer finally had it dawn on him that indeed they were. The tec told him to order a new sensor. Should have it done next week.

Hi Did not think ford used this type battery. This quote is from owners manual. Your vehicle is equipped with a Motorcraft® maintenance-free battery which normally does not require additional water during its life of service.

Hi I think all the way clockwise is the high sensitivity setting but it acts kike it's turned down when it's not.

Hi Yes. Definitely turned on. They will wipe automaticaly when it's rains really hard but otherwise not so much

Thanks I'll take it in next week. I have sensitivity turned all the way up. They don't do a thing in light rain.

Hi Live in Oregon so lots of rain. I set the wipers to the most sensitive setting and unless the rain hits hard on the windshield they don't come on. I cleaned the outside of the windshield and it didn't help. Anyone know if I take it to the dealer if they can fix it so they come on in light rain or am I out of luck. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing this! Mine quit working and I had an appointment for Monday when I saw your post. Removed fuse 79 and put it back in and everything works now! Odd that the fuse was fine and just pulling and putting back did the trick. Canceling my appointment for Monday!

Hi After seeing another post I removed the fuse f79 radio located under jocky box. The fuse was fine. I replaced it back into the slot and everything now works!! Thank you all. Made my day. These boards are really helpful. I also appreciate the official Ford rep!

Hi I did the reset using the MFT I did this twice. I have started and turned off the car several times. Thank you. Appreciate any help.

All of a sudden MFT did the scheduled maintenance reboot and when the screen came back I lost radio and all MFT functions. CD will not eject or play,radio does not work, can't hear phone, speakers off they won't even beat when I touch the screen. Did full reset which did nothing to fix it. Anybody. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

Hi No. I just started to use my view so the temp guage would show.

Hi all Does anyone know why the average mpg in "my view" is different from average mpg in "trip1"? Seems they should be the same. Sure there is a simple reason. I reset trip 1 with every fill up. 2013 Cmax SEL

Hi Thank you! Guess that's why it tests 7 speakers rather than 9. No sub is a bummer. Was hoping for a blown fuse. The system sound could sure use a sub Really appreciate the reply!!

Hi Thanks for the response! I do have the premium audio nav package. I found on the boards the way to go into the system and run a speaker test. Using the "walk around speaker test" only 7 speakers are found. RR door, LR rear door, front left and right doors left tweeter and right tweeter, and aux2. Seems I'm missing two. I have read all I can find on Ford site and it amazes me they are not really specific on what type and where the speakers are. The seven I have found are in obvious places but where might the other two be? Not sure what the first reply with a link to Ford was for? Maybe the nice Ford rep that monitors the site can give specifics. Thank you all.
