  1. I figure it this way, by the time 2020 rolls around I'll be ready for a new car, but I do still have my 2004 focus ztw.
  2. I don't plan on owning my car post warranty.
  3. We went from Nebraska to Indiana, a distance of 840 miles, driving 75 to 80 mph and averaged 34.5 mpg.Our car was brand new and it was cold and windy. Sounds as if something is wrong.
  4. That's funny, I'm an audiophile too. I collect Widespread Panic, GD, Phish etc. I have approximately 7TBs of live shows! I started collecting "tapes" when I was a teenager back in the seventies.
  5. The dealer synced both my wife and my phone. Not that it's a big deal but I hoped the BT would work like my receiver in the living room or at least like the speaker in my bathroom. I have an old kindle fire that I could use. Been a long time since I've had a computer or an iPod. I use my phone or tablet. I have another question, does it recognize flac files?
  6. I use amazon cloud and therefore I have nothing on my phone, on my old impala I ran a cord from my headphone jack to the input in the radio. BT or USB won't pick it up in my c-max.
  7. Lol, I have a 2004 Focus ZTW that I use for work, I've had it since new and it still looks and runs like new. That's why we traded our pos 2008 Impala and kept the Focus. Before the Chevy we had a 2006 Mazda MPV and I was convinced that I was going to buy a Mazda5 until I drove the C-MAX
  8. I agree about the lack of space, the door pockets are too deep and if you put a water bottle in there it falls over. We don't have toll reads here but they do in Chicago and I coil see how that would be a pain. I travel light so it really isn't a big deal for me.

  10. Welcome to the club, I've had mine for two weeks now. My insurance went up too, Allstate, which caused me to shop around and find it cheaper at Geiko.
  11. Yesterday we drove up to Michigan City to see my step daughter and the car preformed flawlessly. I'm amazed and how much power it has when passing. Two hours on a two lane highway means that you have to pass a lot of trucks and it effortlessly sped to 80mph, and I still averaged 47mpg! So far I love this car, an average trip to the grocery I can get 70mpg.
  12. I got pulled over in Kansas once for speeding then a couple months later I got pulled over here in Indiana, they ran me and I had a warrant out of Kansas, they towed my car and I spent two days I'm jail and my $90 dollar ticket cost me $500. You don't want to play games with the law.
  13. Hi,we bought our 2014 sel a week ago and love it so far.I found the car we wanted in Nebraska so we drove from Indiana to pick it up.Driving back at 75mph we only got 34mpg, I'm not unhappy about that seeing that we're getting about 52mpg around the city. It's already been to Ford for a malfunctioning hatch sensor. My only dislike so far is that remote start cost $700 dollars and has another key fob.
