I decided to live without it, I park in the garage and don't really trust the dealer to install it. I was bummed to find out that I couldn't use the phone app to warm the seats.I think that the top of the line sel should have that. Oh well, I still have a super nice car.

I think that you misunderstood me, I was told that it was a separate fob for the remote start.

I was told that it is impossible. It was my understanding that all cars with remote start have two key fobs. Either way I wouldn't trust my dealer to install it.

No, that only works on the energies and focus electric. And no on the key fob too, you have to have two, and it's an extra $100 for a second remote start fob.

I spend some time in the car with it idling and my mpg has dropped from 38.2 down to 36.4 in the last two months. I have to be warm but still.
