  1. I didn't know that, feeling dumb, thanks guys.
  2. I hear it too, my car has 7500 miles on it and I 'be been thinking about taking it in. I notice it mainly when I'm accelerating from a stop up until I let up on the pedal, and it doesn't do it all of the time.
  3. Here in Indy the water company use's them and I doubt they have very many miles on them. I would be very leery as to why a dealer would have a year old car with low miles on the lot. When I bought my old focus it was two years old with 32,000 miles, I knew it was a fleet car.
  4. I think that it's because the car is typically very quiet. I hear it too.
  5. What extra's would a fusion se have that C-max sel wouldn't?
  6. My car has hail damage so the dealer dropped the price from 32 to 21.5 then the rebate lowered it to 20 then the z plan. I walked out paying 15 before trade in. We wound up all in at 11.
  7. You can get the same deal as the x plan straight from the dealer. I know nothing about true car. I went with the z plan, my brother in law is a retired ford employee, and they knocked 5k off of the price.
  8. The 40mpg range is about the best I can do on the interstate, it doesn't seen to matter if I run 65 or 75 it stays the same.
  9. You didn't cover your grill did you? All that talk kind of scared me.
  10. I live in Indianapolis and we had about four months of below freezing temps, Jan and Feb it dips down below zero Fahrenheit and My mpgs stayed in the thirties. Idling kills your mpg's, I went from 38.2 all the way down to 34.0 but it came right back up, now I am at 38.9. I bought my car on Oct 31 and crammed 600 hiway miles on it the first day, so my mpg's started out low.
  11. It has a couple of turns and I never get above 25mph, it might not be related. The ice usually runs in the mornings when I go out for a mile or so. Maybe the fact that it's getting warmer or it is broken in, 7500 miles, but I'm getting a solid 50mpg plus now. A four mile trip to the store averages about 70 mpg!
  12. That would be my guess too, stevedebi, mine always goes in EV+ about two miles from my house.
  13. Buy an SEL then you'll have no battery problems and on the issue of mft, I have yet to have a single problem with it. I love my c-max the only things that I dislike are fairly trivial, the buttons on the steering wheel where I like to lay my hands, the pocket in the door that is virtually worthless and poor mpg's in the winter. Other than that life's a gas!
  14. A couple of questions come to mind, why would a Toyota dealer have a year old Ford on their lot? Why would they try to push you in to it, after all they sell Toyota's? When ever buying a used car always run from the car they're trying to push. I sounds like the Toyota dealer took advantage of you and sold you a lemon.
  15. The only problem that I have had is that sometimes it just doesn't work and I have to start over. I know that doesn't help but I'd keep bringing back to the dealer until you get it fixed.
  16. Welcome to the club.
  17. My old Focus ztw has the blaupunkt with the sub and it sounds a lot better than the Sony in the c- max.
  18. The roof is an extra $1800 dollars. I didn't like the fact that it didn't open so I didn't get it.
  19. I can't imagine living in California, I tried and came back here and have been here since 1984. In spite of what you may have heard the people are nice here and it's cheap to live here. A million will buy you a nice mini mansion here.
  20. No on the headlights and I don't understand why. I think the rear vents are standard equipment. I have an sel with the 303a pkg. That's what you want.
  21. In Indiana you can buy a nice 2000 sf house for around 130k. I bought my fixer upper condo in a nice neighborhood for 21k, seriously.
  22. Enjoy your new ride!
