I just had this happen. High today was about 25F. After some errands, car was left outside in front of the garage from about 3:00pm until 6:30pm. I then put it in the garage and turned it off. So far, so good. A few minutes later, I returned to the garage and heard the buzzing. Could have been a fan, but at rather low speed. Sounded somewhat like a bicycle with a playing card in the spokes. But not too loud. Note, the garage is unheated, and it took all of 30 seconds to move the car into the garage. No way the high voltage battery needed cooling, and without the engine running, there's no source of heat. Anyway, I got in the car, put it into accessory mode (i.e. "start" but without foot on the brake), then turned it off. Buzzing stopped. All very bizarre. I wonder if this is a precursor to a dead 12V battery?

Jacking the C-Max Hybrid with an on board hand jack.

Good info. Thanks. -
Our other car is a '98 Grand Cherokee. It has a noticeably tighter turning radius than the C-Max, which is somewhat disappointing. But U turns and parking are generally not a problem with the C-Max.

My daughter gave me OEM mats for Christmas. Very happy with them. They are heavy-duty rubber and fit exactly. The rear mats are separate small mats rather than a single long one ala WeatherTech. Only disappointment is no coverage for the drivers-side foot rest.

My experience exactly; except over 5000 miles.

Must be Photoshop. ;)

Yep, me too. Clock acted up. Again. Just today. $30K and the stupid clock doesn't work. Absolutely ludicrous.

And you could always simply disconnect the high voltage battery pack.

Excessive brake noise and vibration at start up?
Bill-N replied to MuellerWest's topic in General Discussion
No noise, but the brakes do seem to have a tendency to grab. -
Probably just air escaping around the filler mechanism. I've filled up several times and haven't noticed any noise (been below freezing here for almost a week). I wouldn't worry so long as reducing the fill rate makes the noise go away. Cheers.

By GPS do you mean Navigation?

Folding side mirrors -- how far?
Bill-N replied to roninsd's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors & Wipers
My experience is the same. -
But you probably open a door. That may make a difference.

The C-MAX Hybrid/Energi Emergency Response Guide may also be of interest. It's available here: http://www.motorcraftservice.com/content/pdf/CMax_ERG__91912.pdf

I bought the same mat from oemfordparts.com. Somewhat less expensive than from Ford for the identical item.

Question is, how does one activate GPS time synchronization and outside air temp display on plain-vanilla SEL? Are these Nav-only functions? On page 478 of my owners manual (My Ford Touch -> Settings -> Clock) it says: From this screen, you can also make other adjustments, such as 12– or24–hour mode, activate GPS time synchronization and have the systemautomatically update for daylight savings time and new time zones. You can also turn the outside air temperature display on and off. Whenthe outside air temperature is displayed, it appears at the top center ofthe touchscreen next to the time and date.

I also frequently have the "clock won't keep time" problem. Haven't noticed a correlation with when car was last turned off. FYI, I do not have NAV.

MyTouch didn't want to shut off...

Happened to me yesterday. Just left radio on, came back 30 minutes later and all was well. -
