This happens even if you let the power liftgate close it? Edit* Saw you both had the SEL but forgot all SEL's don't have power liftgate. Next question which should have been first. Do you have the power liftgate?

I prefer the first. Not sure on the centerbore. I would wait on Frank for that.

I plugged it in and it looks like your good. First one will stick out about .6" more and second about .4" due to the offset. What rims are you looking at?

Mine are like this as well. I was told is was from stamping during the manufacturing process. Looked around and saw a lot of brand new F-150s like this. I chalk it up to the poor quality control/design of Ford.

I don't no why it does this, but someone on this forum told me how to prevent it. Start out in low for a few seconds when first taking off. It will switch to charge and you can put it back in drive.

I thought the batteries were sealed in some kind of metal enclosure? At least I'm hoping they are!

Got my car back and everyting works as before. Didn't even have to pair it again.
