Just curious. How long does this state last for those achieving it? Do you guys think this is real MPG, or just another C-Max glitch? I have seen this for a second or two, but that's about it. I'm also pretty sure I was going down hill at the time.

About 100 miles south of Houston.

When I bought my car I based it on the reviews and my test drive. When I found this forum two people were getting their cars bought back and cars were being stranded all over the place with dead batteries. The battery thing would have made it a non starter for me.(no battery problems so far) My car has been in the shop once already and I have a small (but growing) list of things that need to be fixed including the nav. I'm just waiting for the new update before I take it in for what I imagine will be at least a week. I'm not giving up yet. I just would not have bought it if I came here first. I do like the car and would like to thank everyone on the forum for the help and advice. Maybe in a few months when everything is ironed out with these things I will think that this is the best car ever. Who knows? I just didn't think I would be doing so much of the ironing ;)

Not trying to scare anyone off, but I can honestly say if I had visited this forum before my purchase I wouldn't own a C-MAX. Just saying.

I thought that was the lifetime?

I use trip one for fillups and trip 2 for the actual trip itself. I leave the lifetime alone.

Not from my experience. Edit: I was focused on the 37-38 mpg, and not the fact you are getting that without running the A/C. I would have to agree with the above/below posts getting about 38 mpg at 70 mph running the A/C.

There goes the mileage increase with the warmer temps.

I went with the black Husky Liners Weatherbeater. Total coverage of the dead pedal. I also learned that the C-Max floor pan is identical to that of the Escape. Just an FYI in case it was never mentioned elsewhere.

Does FWD have anything to do with turning radius? Seems like it would.

Maybe its just my perception, buy I would swear my '04 F-150 had a better turning radius :sad:

To me lifetime is what it is. Can't get myself to reset it. You really have four options to keep averages. Trip 1&2, lifetime, and the customizable screen on the left side. I reset the latter when I picked up the car.

The hybrid badge on the side is not for bragging rights, It's a warning for first responders.

Give it some time. It took about five weeks for my nav to act up. ;)

Please consider registering with Fuelly. It would be nice to see what kind of number you get with normal/spirited driving.

I think the eBay seller just goes to the dealership and lays the protector on random cars to see what it fits. If it happens to fit they snap a picture and list it.

Will the TDI be next?

Should be an option in the EV+ menu to learn/forget current location.

Odd thing about my EV+ locations. My car remembers my house, my parents house, and the dealership. It hasn't remembered my work yet, which I drive to and leave twice a day. (8-9 hours in the parking lot) It remembered the dealership after it spent a week there one month into owning the car. Who knows?

My bad, I missed your first post that stated you had enabled it. If I remember correctly, you need to turn on the EV+ mode just like the Eco cruise mode. Can't remember how to do it, but I just played with all the things in the menu until I found it. I tried "forcing" the EV+ location using your method, but nothing changed in terms of indicators on the dash.

I live in Texas and have Dish Network. It seems like I can't turn on the TV without seeing a C-Max commercial.
