I could have made it (most likely) but it was Friday evening and I had to leave early the next morning for a 60 plus mile trip and did not want to take time to stop and fill up. I don't like taking a chance of running out of gas and did not know if I could trust the MTE.

This lady also has help driving.

Sorry I didn't make it clear but my IE10 works right on synchmyride.
-
That's odd! I am running IE10 with Win7 and it works great. Could it have something to do with Win8? My NAV also works as it should or maybe I should say so far, in four months, no problems.

Mine was built 9-17-2012 and no battery problems at all in almost 5000 miles. Mine is a SEL. CG

SEL 302a, built 9/17/12 bought 11/9. No problems in the almost 4200 miles on it now.

Press the ok on the left and hold down then press start and hold the ok down until you see ET in the top left of the left screen than you can scroll down with the arrow key. Hope this works for you. CG

Did you hold the ok button down while starting the car?

Laurel, notice it has DTC codes in it also. Both new codes and history for old codes so if you have a problem you can look the codes up and know what the problem is. I found a list of Ford DTC codes on the internet a year or so ago by just doing a search for them.

To exit without restarting the engine just press and hold ok for a few seconds.

"It's too bad the test screen doesn't come up on the right display so you can use the left display while driving." I thought the same thing. It does work in driving so it can be another distraction.

My 2010 Fusion hybrid I traded for the Cmax had an Engineering Test Mode that could be entered at start up. I found out how to do this in the Cmax. When starting hold the ok button on the left of the steering wheel and start the car. In the left panel you will have the test mode which you can scroll with the up and down arrow keys. It has a lot of interesting information in it. If you haven't already tried it you might want to check it out. This mode will exit when you shut the car down. Charles

Mine has done that a few times and I just call up one of my favorite destinations and let it compute the route and then cancel the route and it is back working again. Only takes a couple of minutes.

I don't understand why your's does this. I reset both trip 1 & 2 all the time and never lose EV+. I reset lifetime at 600 miles and did lose EV+ for a hundred miles or so. Maybe someone has an answer for this or you might have to try the dealer. CG

Where is the 'build date' on the window sticker?
cgul replied to dalebunker's topic in Buying, Order and Leasing
Mine was built 9/17/2012 and those numbers you quote on my sticker are: 120120917. So looking at your numbers I would say 8/24/2012. The build date is on a sticker inside the drivers door toward the front of the car. -
I remember the first computer I built. It was a XT. My son was about five years old and played games on a PC junior we had. I was going to give him his own hard drive on this one. I bought two 10mb hardrives and a controler card for the sum of $895. I had about 3000 dollars of hard to come by money in it but it worked great. By the way that same son is 38 now. I have one of the Scan Disk Drives except mine is a 32gig. It great if you don't lose it.

The weather has not been cold and my mileage is doing very well. I am pleased with it. This is the mileage on the present tank: One trip on the same tank: My lifetime mileage which was reset at 600 miles: The CMax will get the EPA mileage. This is NOT holding up traffic either. I try to run with traffic but use EV as much as I can. The HVB charges a lot faster than my Fusion hybrid did. By the way, I use my heater every cold morning just as I would with any other car. We have had some mild weather but it has changed today. I bought my CMax Nov. 9. It was one the dealer had ordered for stock and he called the morning it came in. Its build date was Sept. 17.

My scangauge shows 14.8 volts with the car running and I just checked after sitting for about 5 hours in the garage 12.9 volts. I had to put the car in accessory mode for the scangauge to come on and the headlights and radio were on also but the engine was not running of course. I just checked the voltage after about 20 hours and it checks 12.16 volts with my expensive DVM. The scangauge still reads 12.9 so I would say the scangauge voltage readings are about .7 volts high.

I bought a cargo mat here for $72.45. They have two kinds of mudflaps, the molded is what we are looking at here. They are 40.24 per set (front or back) plus shipping. I think I might order a set. http://www.lombardfordaccessories.com/categories/Ford_Car_Accessories/C-MAX/Exterior.cfm?CFID=19387670&CFTOKEN=93704155

Mine don't work that way. If the doors are locked, it opens with one kick and the doors stay locked. When I kick again to close it, it closes and the lights blink to tell me it is closed and the doors are still locked. With the doors unlocked it opens with one kick but the lights do not blink when I close it. I stand in the center of the car and kick straight forward under the bumper and stepback a step as I bring my foot back. Works every time.
