TxTom Posted February 2, 2013 Report Share Posted February 2, 2013 Rachel...just FYI...when I decided to buy my C-Max (one the dealer had ordered as inventory) it was already on a rail car, west of the Michigan plant. The sales person couldn't get me the railcar number, but daily gave me a call or email with its location. It was built on 1/7/13 and was delivered on 1/20 (Sunday night!) in Denton, TX. Hope this gives you some idea of the timing. Maybe mine took longer than usual since it was shipped just after the holiday break? Getting that daily communication really made the time go by faster. I stopped contact with my dealer in early January after they texted me they had the order numbers for the cars and by that point I already had the VIN numbers. And it took them weeks to get the order numbers, which I had long before they did. I am sure I will know before them when my car arrives hahahaha. Results were faster thru the fb cmax page.
