  1. Our best dogs have been the ones that found us. Pookie was a rescue after the hurricane. :)
  2. Jus! You have a live one on the end of your line. Hahahaha.
  3. Many screens to pick from to help you. Find the one that helps the most. Lots of people are in a hurry. Sad.
  4. I needed Rainette when I was having to take my daughter to school. 88 miles a day. In my Tahoe! Now she drives herself :). I was filling up twice a week then. Makes me sick to think about it. It's worth it. Her school is great. :).

    Fuelly

I was just looking on fuelly because I cannot sleep GRRR and noticed its been 9 days since I filled up. I remember checking the gage today and it was just under half a tank. By this time in my Tahoe I would be filling up again and it wouldn't be 40.00 either! Sometime I think, "I have already spent 111.00 on gas in a month that I have had my car??". Then I remind myself I would fill up almost once a week at 65.00+. I usually stopped at 50.00 because, well, that's a lot of money on gas! I figured I am going twice as far as I use to on half as much gas. Works for me.
  6. I asked my husband if he thought I was obsessed with my car. He grinned and said,"it's okay.". Lmao. Not only do I talk about it to him but to my dad and well people online. WHAAt??
  7. Exactly. Tick. Tick. I was getting discouraged until I started using trip 1 and 2. I just got 59 mpg. I only went 3 miles tho hahahaha
  8. Are you looking at your lifetime average? Don't! You need to look at you tank or your trips. I find the lifetime average disappoints me. What? 39.3?? Really? Then I look at each trip or the tank. Trips are high 30s and high 40s. That makes me happy. What's your tank average?
  9. What's everyone's plans for Easter? Family traditions? We get together on Good Friday to dye eggs. The kids love to use crayons to draw designs or pictures on the eggs and then dye them. My dad fries up some fish, fries, onion rings and my grandmother makes her boiled beet, egg and potatoes sliced thin. That was their tradition growing up and she tells us the story. She is 92! We eat and visit and pock eggs. This is normally done on Easter but since we stay home in Easter we pock eggs on good Friday. If you're interested, I found this on the Internet. http://msenplace.blogspot.com/2010/03/cajun-easter-time-for-paquing.html?m=1
  10. You are too kind! I really need to keep more stats. I was running late for work this morning so I just drove like a reg car. It was 37* out and I managed 37mpg. Not too shabby.
  11. Perrin when I brought my car home from the dealer it got 17? 20? In four weeks it's now at 39.3.
  12. Too funny. S/he really anted to be in the pic :)
  13. I had to blow up the pic to "find Waldo"
  14. Boys, boys, boys. Play nice! Don't make me send you to pick a switch!
  15. Oh. I forgot it shows traffic! Not that I travel far. But that's a nice feature.
  16. I hear ya! My second half of the tank just goes in a flash. I also do well on the first half and then nose dive!

Hey Joe! Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum.
  18. Time for money, or in this case gas! I love drives off the beaten path. I like scenery. I do not like the interstate. If you have the time you can really enjoy trips. I took the scenic route the last two trips. I totally enjoyed the drive. Saw some small towns and did some research on them once I was home.
