  1. You need a ScanGaugeII or similar gauge to get an accurate reading and put Grill Covers to solve the problem. Look up the thread up on Grill Covers, it worth 2 to 4 mpg. Paul

  4. I think the 93V the original OEM tires are 51 psi and that is what I used for 273k miles getting 65-90k miles. All these questions are answered in my thread above " How to drive a Cmax Hybrid to get great gas Mileage" Paul

  9. I was hoping someone in the CMAX forum would be interested in taking over for me making Grill Covers for those that can't make their own. It would be a shame not to have them available for New Members. Paul
  10. I have had a number of members contact me about Grill Cover kits availability and I do some parts like a couple of Grill Cover sets, but not the Velcro fasteners. I was wondering if there was anyone that would be interested in taking over making them. I have the templates and instructions for installing them. You can PM me if interested. Paul

  14. I went 175k miles on my second trans and was still running on a 2013 CMAX, first one lasted 98k. Paul
  15. Well you did it. Congratulations! Curious it looks like it's about 2.6 cents per mile here at home for my FEHP, I guess electricity is cheaper here. Also the FORD adaptive cruise seems similar to your autosteer. Sounds like you are having fun with yours. I'm lucky in that I have 5 FREE level 2 charging stations near me. I use one that is 3 miles away from work so I drop it off in the morning and ride my bike to work and back when it's charged up. I look at it as a twofer get free charge and get some exercise too, If I'm lucky I can go a month without paying for charging. ? Some level 2 charging stations have started charging $1-$1.5 per hour so we will see how that goes. It isn't worth it if you pay more than $1/20 miles, gas is cheaper. Paul
  16. Did they do an up data on your ECM? Paul
  17. I never changed the brake pads with 273k mi., I agree with you if your HVB is full use the brakes. Paul

  19. My trans was still working at 174k mi. on the second one when I traded it in. Had 273k mi. on the car. Paul
  20. I use a ScanGaugeII, most Auto Parts places have them or you can do a Google search. We do have info on the codes for the CMAX posted here. Paul
  21. The last 7 years I had my CMAX Hybrid I was getting 53 mpg with about 78% HWY and 273k miles total. I have 20k miles on my FEHP with 52.3 gas mileage and overall 86 mpg, of course this is affected by how many miles EV miles vs gas miles. On trips with a full charge I'm getting up to 59 mpg. with the high temps now. Paul
  22. I added them to my car and I don't remember any improvement. Grill Covers are worth 2-4 mpg and wheel covers 2 mpg and they cost less. Paul
  23. The CMAX has a smaller HVB and new ones had a range of 21 miles. Paul
  24. It sounded bad coming back from AZ, stopped in Albuquerque, NM and FORD Dealer said trans was bad even thou it was working fine. I didn't think I could make it back to GA so I had them replace it. I suspected things were going bad about 8k miles earlier and steadily getting worse. I noticed my trans temp was going up. Paul
